Aaron POV
Me and Roni have been inseparable. Honestly I don't ever want to leave her side. It sounds cheesy but it's true. Alex and Kian were right. We love each other. We have spent every waking moment together. Roni has been very scared lately. She keeps getting news alerts about E trying to escape. We have had police come to the Merrell house a lot. It's scaring her. Paul came home yesterday. He and Wendy had a great trip on the cruise. When he came home he had me tell him everything. He ask about the police. I leave out the Roni's panic attack on the street where it happened. I also leave the make out sesh. I don't think that's public info. He ask where Roni is. I tell him that she is in her room taking a nap.
" Oh shoot that's right she wanted me to wake her up at two"
" Ok . Tell her that I'm home"
" Will do sir" I walk up the stairs and I hear hard breathing. Like someone hyperventilating. I open the door in panic. I see Roni laying on the floor having a anxiety attack. I comfort her till her breathing slows to a normal.
" Hey, beautiful. I know you don't feel like talking now but are you ok"
" I am now"
" Ok. Your dad is here"
" Oh yay" I pass her a tissue. She dabs under her eyes with the tissue. She jumps up and kisses me.
" You're too tall" I bend down.
"Is that better"
" Perfect" we walk down stairs hand in hand. Roni runs and hugs her dad. They start talking. I grab three cups of water.
" Have you been holding the house down"
" Yeah. It's been mostly Aaron doing it but I helped. Nessa hasn't. She's been busy hanging out with Kian" she says rolling her eyes
" Truthfully you shouldn't judge her. You've been hanging out with me" I say
" True"
" So where is my other daughter"
" On a trip" Roni says
" With who"
" Kian" we say in unison. Me and Roni laugh
" Are you guys going some where"
" Yes. Daddy, I thought we told you we are going to Lake Tahoe tomorrow."
" Oh sorry. I have the memory of a goldfish" we all laugh. We talk for like an hour. Then Paul goes to his office. Roni gets up.
" Aaron let go" she says giggling
" Why. Lets snuggle"
" I have too pack"
" Pack later"
" We're leaving tomorrow there is no later"
" Then don't pack"
" So you want me to be naked the whole time"
" I wouldn't mind that"
" Shut up and let go" she says with a smile. I let go and I let her go pack. After thirty minutes I check on her.
" Hey beautiful. How's it going"
" Fine. I'm all done now" we sit on the floor and snuggle. I leave to go home. We get on the plane. We unpack. Today is the day. I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend. We hike up a rock. She shocks me when she goes up to the top.
" It's beautiful up here" she says
"Not as beautiful as you" she blushs. We sit and talk. I stand up.
"Why are you standing up"
" Get up to see"
" Uggh Fine" I dig in my backpack and grab a hedgehog stuff animal.
" Roni I know you have been waiting for this day" I pass her the hedgehog. It has a shirt that says will you be my girlfriend.
" You already know the answer" she says. We kiss for a sec. This sounds cheesy but it was a dream come true.
