Ladies , gentlemen, and variations there upon,
Sarah got her top row of braces.
I feel so sorry, only because those are supposed to hurt like a bitch. Also, I can't wait to see them when we go to school.
Because it's summer, I don't see any of my friends in person.
Also, I won't be seeing @EmmaBrowne6 at all, because she moved.
But I'm hoping most of my friends are on my side this year.
You see, my school separates the grades into sides A and B.
Last year, in seventh grade, I was on side A, while Sarah, Angie, and Emma were on side B, so the only time I really got to talk to them was before school and during lunch, when we had it with each other.
I've been waiting to see the class list, so I can check where Sarah, Angie, and I are.
And if we're on the same side, we might have classes together. We'll have lunch with each other everyday. We won't have to worry about different gossip.
The sides in our school are like two different worlds.
Side A has it's own hierarchy and cliques, while side B has it's own hierarchy and cliques.
You have friends on both sides, but you don't know what's happening on the other side.
Basically, the sides are two rivaling kingdoms and the students are the rebels who befriends each other.
Before middle school, there are three rivaling kingdoms. The elementary schools are in completely different parts of town and you basically know no one in the other schools until middle school.
Then, there are the rivalries within the kingdoms.
Usually, there are cliques. Some people, however, don't fit into a clique.
They are what I like to call the in-betweeners. (I'm sure I stole that from someone)
A lot of them are friends with each other. They are friends with people who are in rivaling cliques.
Basically, they are both socialites and peacekeepers.
I happen to be an in-betweener.
In-betweeners are like both the alpha and omega of a wolf pack.
We are the ones who run the school, but from the background. We can hold our own, but always travel in packs, as not to be picked out as the weakest link in the social hierarchy which is middle school.
There are the popular people who are jocks and pretty girl and hot dudes. Within the pops you have different species of pops. Like the jocks, cheerleaders, fashionistas, divas, bad boys, and all those lovely stereotypical section.
There are the "nerds". There are the sports nerds, videogame nerds, showy nerds, quiet nerds, cutiepie nerds, and a bunch of others.
There are the rebel, as I like to call them. They're kind of like hipsters, except a little bit not low-key. Rebel don't want to be noticed as different, but are different, in some dramatically obvious way.
Then, there are in-betweeners. We fit into any type of clique, though most of the time we aren't exactly the most obvious in that group. We befriend people from most cliques. We are confident enough to stand up for ourselves, though not to talk in front of the class. We are shy when needed, weird always, and a little bit reckless in times of dares.
In-betweeners are all shitheads, but we stick up for people in need, are loyal to our friends, and won't try to confront people without reason.
So, if you're a sick, we're gonna call you out on being a dick.
We usually fit into a lot of stereotypes, but don't know which we like the most, so we usually just hangout with other
                              in-betweeners.
And with that, I'll leave you.
Good Night And Good Dreams everyone
