So, this week, we'll be discussing some of my more memorable school stories.
(Stay tuned. This'll get boring.)
Let's start with 6th grade.
One day, Sarah, Jenna, and I were sitting in our homeroom at the end of the day. Sarah had been working on this charcoal drawing in art and she had it with her.
After a while, Jenna dared Sarah to wipe some charcoal on this kid Mike's (He was one of the only people taller than me and freaked me the fuck out.) neck.
Obviously, Sarah, being Sarah, refused to do this and she told Jenna to do it.
Jenna refused, because she's a wimp. (Not really, that's just what I call her.)
They went back and forth for awhile before I stepped in and said I would do it.
So, I rubbed two fingers on the drawing and wiped them on Mike's neck.
He flipped out.
It was awesome. All of us were cracking up while he went to the bathroom to wash it off. Our teacher even asked if it was washable and I had to answer Because the other two wouldn't stop laughing. (Thanks a lot, guys. You know how much I hate talking to people.)
Then in fifth grade, I remember this kid in my homeroom. His name was Jake and he used to get really angry or frustrated for some reason.
Well, one day in science, I was in his group for a project we had been doing on light. I was in his group and I had to calm him down. Marissa, another girl in my group, was being an impatient asshole with him.
I had made her stop talking to him because she was just making it worse.
So, I calmed Jake down and went back to my seat, because in the process of calming him down, I had crouched down next to him.
So, I get back to my seat and Marissa is sitting in front of me and guess what she says.
"I would never of been able to be that patient."
And on the outside I was blushing, because back then I was even more antisocial than I am now, but on the inside I was like, "No shit, Sherlock."
I guess I've always been a patient person, when I have to be. I usually don't get too fed up with people. I'm not laid back, I know that. I'm just patient.
Back to school memories.
Let me just say that, throughout elementary school, I had two best friends.
Their name's were Molly and Kayliegh (I think I spelled that right).
Throughout fourth grade, we played this game. It was really stupid fucking game. In this game, Molly was a witch, I was either a werewolf or a vampire, and Kayliegh was either a werewolf or a vampire.
So, basically, everyday during recess, we would run around defeating invisible adversaries with whatever we had.
The game originated that year and carried on into fifth grade for a bit. Then people wanted to join the game and it kind of went down hill from there.
I don't have many memories from fourth grade, so let's go to third grade.
In third grade, I remember this time in SSR, where I was in another class, because back then we changed classes for SSR.
So, I was in this other teachers class, and we were being quiet and the teacher suddenly asks, "Who's humming?"
And, apparently, I was the one humming.
After everyone sees it was me, she says, "Well, thank you for the entertainment, but please be quiet."
By the way, that teacher is still, to this day, one of my favorite teachers.
Second grade was the year nothing fucking happened.
Like, I don't remember second grade.
Actually, second grade was the year I started to be able to touch the flag with my forehead.
First grade was the year I broke my left arm. This girl I used to be friends wanted to do a cartwheel contest (something we did often). She tripped, we both fell, next day I have a cast.
Third grade I broke my right arm. Marissa (from fifth grade) and I were playing tug of war at field day and she let go to soon, so I fell backwards and ended up breaking up my arm.
Fifth grade I had this teacher. She's also one of my favorites.
One time, I said ow and she gave me a jolly rancher.
I think that's pretty much it. Though I know I'll think of something else later.
Good Night And Good Dreams everyone
