((READER POV age 6 1/2))

I sat in my small sail boat while the big storm clouds surrounded my body and small vessel,

My adopted parents signed me up for these classes and I have to agree with myself that this is the worst idea ever. My small body shivered as thunder shook my boat and I watched the outside world shake violently.

I pulled my hoodie up over my head and held myself. I'm gonna die out here...
Aren't I?!
I turned on the small ham radio in the boat it made a war piercing ring that made me drop the communicator.
I turned it off and peaked outside. I walked out only for time to slow down.
a dark wave filled my small boat,
A nervous hum escaped my lips and I jumped in the water, I felt around my small body as my (f/c) hoodie and sneakers got heavy, my life jacket.

((Kenway POV))

"Perfect timing if I say aye cap?" Kidd spoke up and looked at me. I grinned and walked off the dock.

"What will it be kenway?" The dock master asked me "refill on what we had last week" The rain slowed as our conversation ended and the refill of our resources was placed. walking into the small town I looked around and caught sight of a group of kids running into the alley way.
"Let's go before they get away!" herd chanting and decided to take a look. Climbing up the front of the building I peered down and Saw a circle of kids around a smaller kid, she was filthy, a (f/c) shirt wrapped her waist while she wore a white dirty shirt and short pants while being barefoot,she was in a fight of some sort.

She threw a punch only to revive one back violently to nose, she tumbled to the ground yet got up.
She screamed and then grabbed the older kid that punched her by his collar and head butt him. The kid tumbled back and yelled while she held her head and waved back a little.

"Y-YOU LITTLE SHIT! GET HER AND THERE 5R IN IF FOR ALL OF YOU!" He yelled and she turned and started running fast too. I followed on the rooftops.

((Reader POV))

I woke up on this island a month ago, sand covered my body and it was very hot. Yet now I was running so I don't get beat up by Marc again, he is like a leader of the kids.

I slid down the steep alley way and ran. My hair was matted and my body smelled gross. Blood ran down my nose and onto my white shirt.

I ran under a girls dress and popped out the other side making her scream
"S-SORRY MISS!"
some red people looked at me and glared.
"GET THE GIRL!"

I ran faster, my legs aches and my lungs burned yet I had to, tears cascaded down my face. I didn't want to be in trouble, I didn't want to be picked on, I wanted a momma and papa. I slid under a Apple cart and ran into a bar. A male with a bandanna on his head looked at me as I hid behind his seat.

"I'm illiterate you bastard! You could be ripping me off!" A manly voice yelled out I walked over and looked at the table,

"I, James Kidd

Write off 500R? Yeah 500 to yor checking and supplie refill for helping restore my power in the vast
Ocean,
Signed James Kidd."

I read it out loud and the man nodded,
"Thank you lass" he shot me a smirk and I snapped my head around when I herd yelling.

He looked at me with a nod "thank you lass for clearing that up"

I covered his mouth and pointed at the guards while giving him a "shhh" suggestion, he nodded and let me hide under his coat that hung off the chair.
