Bucky's POV
The only sound in the gym was the smacking of my fists against a punching bag. Strewn about the floor around me were destroyed bags, Tony's gonna be pissed.

"Knock knock?" Tony's voice called from the door, "Is the Wolf up for a visitor?"

"Sure," I replied without looking away from the bag, "What do you need?"

"Oh, it's not me. Someone has requested to see you. Says he's an old friend so he's either immortal or he's an ice cube like you and Cap."

I stopped punching. Old friend? Who could it be? All the Howling Commandos passed away years ago.

"Send him in, I guess."

A couple minutes later, a very muscular man walked in wearing a white muscle shirt and military cargo pants, a pair of dog tags hung from his neck. His eyes looked like those of a wild animal, alert and on guard.

When he spoke, his voice was deep and gravely, "James Buchanan Barnes, been a while since I've seen you. When I heard you were still alive, I could hardly believe. What really threw me for a loop was the stories they been telling' about you being "The Winter Soldier". I thought I'd try to find you and see if I could help you. See, I've been tracking you for quite some time, but you're quite the fella to find. When I found out that you had been rescued and rehabilitated by Rogers and you were living in New York, it was only a matter of getting here to talk to you."

I raised an eyebrow in question. He knew so much about me, only cleared intelligence knew who the Winter Soldier truly was.

Keep cool, don't let on too much.

He walked toward me, his stride similar to that of a stalking cat.

"I don't remember you," I stated cautiously.

"I suppose it has been a while. It's me, Logan. Or 'Lucky James' as you and Rogers used to call me."

Memories suddenly rushed back to me. Our mission in Madripoor, this same man, who went by his codename "Logan," running towards the firing Germans and not getting hit once. It was absolutely incredible to watch, it restored team morale and we ran out to join the fight. He earned the nickname "Lucky James" that day. He became something of a hero in our division and then he suddenly disappeared.

"Logan? How are you still alive, you gotta be at least a hundred years old?!" I practically shouted.

"I'm much older than that, bub. I didn't tell you back then, but I'm what people call a mutant. They call me Wolverine, I'm effectively immortal because of my mutation. Let me show you my other talent," he chuckled.

I cocked my head to the side in confusion.

He chuckled again and suddenly a sound like a dozen knives being scraped against each other echoed through the room. In between Logan's knuckles were eight inch long stakes of metal.

Before I could properly think, my brain screamed "Danger!" and then Logan was flat on his back with my metal arm held in a fist above his head and my other arm pinning his shoulder to the ground.

I quickly got up, "Sorry, I can't control my impulses very well," I muttered and offered a hand to help him up.

"No worries, I understand," he stated simply, taking my hand.

I was taken aback by how calm he was, "You... understand?"

"Bub, I've been around since the 1880s, I've seen enough death to last seven lifetimes. I get the nightmares and sometimes I act with out thinking. Hell, I've even had my brain wiped a few times. I get what you're going through."

"This is weird, I've never heard this from anyone else before..."

"Don't get used to it, nobody else has really gone through the same thing that isn't already dead."

"How long you got here? I feel like we should sit and talk about this over drinks, because honestly I'm exhausted and there's a lot to talk about," I invited.

"I got time and yeah you're exhausted, your friend who let me up here says you been at it for four hours."

I widened my eyes as we walked toward the door , "That did not feel like four hours."

Logan just laughed before continuing to talk about old times.

"By the way, what do they call you now?" Logan inquired.

"The White Wolf," I responded.

*Gasp* I'm down here now! So yes, Bucky meeting Logan never happened in the MCU, but it happened frequently in the comic books(which I don't know a lot about please don't attack me for it) Logan states in the comics that Bucky is one of the only people in the world who can kill him, that being said, it is relevant to the story but you have to wait to find out why. Also it took me a frickin' hour to find this picture. Worth it lol.
