Uh, hey guys 😅. So I know it's been a looooong while, but I felt like I should at least try to finish the story lol. So, as much as time skips kinda suck, I'm gonna pull one here , it'll only be a few months so it'll skip from being New Years to about summer time. Anyway, I'm sorry for being gone so long but I hope you enjoy this chapter. (It's low-key kinda shitty so I apologise in advance)

Bucky's POV
"Steve and I's relationship has been goin' smoothly and I'm coping with things so much better than I ever was before. But, I still find myself having panic attacks in public and my self destructive tendencies during these attacks are setting me back further and further," I ranted to Dr. Wright as she nodded with understanding.

I sat and looked at her as she pondered for a moment, "Well Mr. Barnes, I'm very proud of the progress you've been making, but it seems you need assistance outside of my office, is that correct?"

I nodded. Steve does the best he can, but he had his own issues that he barely knows how to cope with. He has a hard time helping me with my issues and I feel bad making him deal with me all the time.

"In cases like this, veterans, such as yourself, can get service dogs. A psychiatric service dog would assist you during panic attacks as well as with everyday tasks. It would be a portable therapist when you don't have access to me," she explained.

I nodded again, "Where do I get one?"

"You can either adopt from one of these trainers or organizations," She said as she finished writing on a paper and handing it to me, "or you can adopt from a shelter and have it trained or train it yourself."

I took the paper, "Thanks doc, I'll check em out when I get home. That bein' said, it was lovely seein' ya. I'll be sure to see ya soon," I stated, standing, giving her a small wave, and walking out.

                      •••••••••••••••

"Hey doll," Steve called from the bedroom when I walked through the door, "How'd it go?"

"Went pretty well," I called back, "She told me gettin' a service dog would be a good idea."

Steve walked out of the bedroom well dressed, "Sounds like a good idea to me."

I raised an eyebrow as I walked toward him, "where're you headed dressed all fancy?"

"Gotta go to some conferences with Stark, play Captain America and keep Tony in check. Ya know, the usual," he smiled as he pulled me close.

I hummed and leaned my head up to give him a kiss, "I love you, Stevie."

He playfully scrunched his nose and rubbed it against mine, "I love you too, doll."

He separated himself from me and walked towards the door, "By the by, since Tony and I'll be gone, would you be okay training Peter today?"

I slightly cringed, "I uh, I don't know. Would that be a good idea?"

"He's a tough kid, he might surprise ya," he said while pulling on his shoes, "Give it a shot, alright?"

I sighed, "I guess so, I just don't wanna hurt him."

He leaned up and pulled me in again, "Ya won't hurt him, just have him go over his powers with ya and go from there," He kissed me goodbye, and just like that, he was gone.

I rolled my eyes and pulled off my shoes. I really wasn't sure of this, I mean I'm a trained super soldier assassin and Peter is a kid. But, if Steve thinks it's a good idea, I shouldn't be worrying about it.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y, Can ya tell Peter to head down to the gym," I called out as I got dressed for the gym.

"Of course Sergeant Barnes," The A.I. responded as I walked out the door.
