SKIPPER

"Thank you, Kipp," Eliana sweetly said as she scan the frames.

Eliana is one of my trusted friend in the company. We've been working side-by-side for years now. She used to be an old flame, but we have a professional relationship now. She's one of the few girls that can accept that anything romantic ends in the bed and lasted only for a night. She perfectly grasped the principle of one night stand. And I like her for that.

I winked at her then started arranging my things.

Today has been a long day for me. New models were hard to handle. It made me think that I should request for performance evaluation for the HR department. Padami na nang padami ang mga modelo na nakakapasok dahil sa koneksyon.

They were pretty, yes, but they're too amateur for G&S. Lahat na lang ay isinusubo sa kanila. They can't decide how to pose on their own. It's damn hard to pull a natural shot on them.

I pressed my left shoulder then rotated it a bit. I was tired for today's shots. I've been working for nine hours straight and I still have a pile of paper works for tonight.

"Lei, set a meeting with the HR department Monday next week," I asked my EA. "Request for Tito Nexiel's presence."

After placing my beloved camera on its bag, I bid my farewell on the crew then I went out. Ibinilin ko na lang kay Lei ang ibang mga gamit ko at dumeretso na ako sa kotse ko sa basement.

The company prepared a dinner for us, but I have an appointment with Trey.

It's been three weeks since Trey and Marron broke up. Trey seems to be able to hold himself up after begging my sister to get him back, and got dumped. I was there when he got pushed away. I was there and I witnessed how strong he was.

Trey picked himself up, manned up, and accepted Marron's decision. He thanked Marron, then even managed to smile at her and thanked her for being the best part of his life.

We went on a cruise for a week. Darco and I never left Trey side. Natatakot kasi kami na baka tumalon s'ya bigla sa dagat.

Mukhang maayos naman si Trey. I praise this man for being this fucking strong. He's still functioning well, he's still a good businessman, and he's still holding the torch of their family well. He's not self-destructing, kahit na alam naman ng lahat na nasasaktan s'ya sa pagkakawala ni Marron sa buhay n'ya.

Trey is one hell of a selfless fucker. He's still being strong for his family, disregarding his pain because he was needed for the company.

I drove myself to the restaurant where we agreed to meet. Dara and Darco were already there, and they surely hated each other's presence. Thinking about what happened to them on the past, it made me smirk.

It made me wonder who got the most fucked up love story. Was it me, who was left by the woman I loved because she loves her career more than she loves me? Was it Trey, who got swallowed by his responsibilities on his family, and lose the woman he loves in the middle of being the man his family needs? Or was it Darco, who got torn between being a good grandson and fighting for the woman he loves? Or maybe, it was Dara, who was left behind because she wasn't accepted by the family of the man she loved selflessly?

Bago pa magsaksakan ang dalawa ay lumapit na ako. I patted Darco's shoulder then I kissed Dara's head. I took the seat on the left of Dara then lifted my hand for the menu.

I just received the menu when Dara's phone beeped. I watched as her head lifted up to the entrance. She raised her hand and waved with a bright smile on her face.
