15| Tired But Satisfied

"I'm gonna miss you, signorina," Skipper gently said with a lazy smile on his lips. 

My eyes closed at the soft stroke of his fingertips on my cheek. I leaned my head on his palm. 

Kung ako ang masusunod ay ayaw ko nang matapos ang mga oras ko kasama si Skipper. Ayaw ko pang bumalik sa reyalidad ko. Ngunit may mga responsibilidad na naghihintay sa akin. Kung tutuusin nga ay luho na ang kalahating taon na bakasyon ko kasama si Skipper. 

Hindi ko na nilabanan ang kagustuhan ng puso ko na idikit ang katawan ko kay Skipper. Iniangat ko ang mga braso ko at ipinulupot sa leeg niya. I inhaled his manly scent. It's his unique scent that I'll never get used to. 

"I don't wanna let go," I murmured on his chest.

I felt Skipper's arms on my waist. He bent down to place his face on the crown of my head. 

We stayed like that for some moment. Napabitiw lang kami sa isa't isa when someone cleared his throat. 

A wide smile formed my lips as I saw my parents on the other side of the gates. 

Matapos mabuksan ng mga maids ang gate ay agad akong tumakbo kay Daddy at palundag na yumakap. 

"I miss you, Daddy!" masiglang sabi ko at mabilis na humalik sa pisngi ni Daddy. 

Mahigpit na yumakap sa akin si Daddy at humalik sa noo ko. 

Si Mommy naman ang binalingan ko at yumakap at humalik din. 

Humaplos si Mommy sa buhok ko. "Bagay sa'yo, anak," she smiled at my shoulder-length hair. 

"Ate!" Tiana came running towards us. Mahigpit siyang yumakap at humalik sa akin. 

Their warm welcome made my heart swell. I realized how much I miss them. 

Tiana commented on my new look. "Tan skin and short hair gave you a refreshing look. Far from your usual boring and dull appearance, Ate," she smirked at me. She move her eyes on Skipper and gave me a meaningful smile.

I wanna giggle at my sister's cute gesture. I really miss my bratty baby girl.

I turned my head when I heard Dad talking to Skipper. Dad's stiff and cold tone made me smirk inside. Mas nangiti ako nang mapansin ko ang bahagyang pamumutla ni Skipper sa harap ni Daddy. 

Nasabi na sa akin ni Skipper na kung ano'ng gaan ng loob n'ya kay Tito Troy, ganoon namang kaba n'ya sa kay Daddy.

I can't blame him. Terrence Luer Amante is really intimidating. But he's the sweetest Dad in the world.

"Tumuloy na muna tayo sa loob," Mommy invited.

Tumaas ang isang kilay ni Tiana. Sa aming lahat, s'ya na lang ang hindi pa sanay sa Tagalog.

Tinanungaan ni Dad si Skipper at nauna nang pumihit para pumasok sa loob. Umangkla agad ang braso n'ya sa bewang ni Mommy at tinangay si Mommy sa loob. 

"So?" Tiana wiggled her brows on us. 

I raised a brow on her then smirked. I took Skipper's hand and led him inside our house. Tiana clutched on my arm then squealed.

"I miss you, Ate," Tiana giggled then kissed me on the cheek. 

I let go of Skipper's hand to hug my sister. "I bought so many pasalubong for you and Theo. Next time, let's travel together." 

Nagpatuloy kami sa pagpasok sa bahay. Nakaakbay ako kay Tiana at si Skipper ay nakasunod lang sa amin.

Ipinahanda na ni Mommy ang hapag para sa amin. Skipper took the seat beside me, which is Theo's seat.
