"You know, these are soundproof walls, so not even the most attentive and hearing sharp as razor people would come after you, since you just wouldn't stop."

"Well no shit, Sherlock, if you can hear me, I may easily damage your sensitive hearing." I retorted, I could feel my grey eye glowing a deep shade of blood red, if only these chains weren't stained with ghoulsbane, I could've just killed him right then and there. He chuckled, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek. Man, if looks could kill, he would have been buried 7 metres underground by now because of my constant death glares.

"How do you know my hearing is sensitive? Or was it just a hunch?" He scoffed, eyes rolling back.

"Tch. Go on, keep rolling your eyes back, you might find a brain back there." I glared, his stench filling the room. I hate vampires who smell so cocky.

"What did you say? Are you implying that I don't have a brain?" He said, I was almost at the brink of laughing my ass off so hard.

"Why, yes. Did you forget that it was a sarcastic joke and you just can't take a chill pill about it because you're too serious? Or you actually don't have a brain back there, but who knows? You might be as stupid as the other guy I last killed." I clicked my tongue, keeping my still deadly glare into his eyes, feeling like a champ even though I'm tied to a bed, but who cares?

"Wow, wittier than ever, kid. Looks like you didn't learn your lesson. Should I have to punish you again?"

"You make it sound weirdly disgusting and repulsive, but you better choose your words better, boy. If not, sumbagon ta ka. Pag sure diha dong, ha?" (Translation: I will punch you. So make sure, okay?)

"Okay, you're really fucking getting on my nerves. Shut up for a second." He tells me, and I blink, raising an eyebrow in confusion. I decide not to bother him or else I'm in deep shit.

Shiro's POV

"Aiden! Did you hear that?" I ask, turning to him looking alarmed as he stopped for a second.

"Hear what? I didn't hear anything, and you know my hearing is sharp as heck." He says, still struggling on getting the rope off him while trying not to die because of sudden impalement.

I shrugged it off, maybe it was just in my head and I'm going crazy! But while I was thinking of other things, I heard a scream. A blood curling scream that belonged to someone I know very well.

"Aiden! Did you hear that?! Artemis is in trouble!!"

"Yeah, well no shit Sherlock, that's what happens when we get kidnapped, dummy!"

"Wow, overstatement of the year. Let's give a round of applause to Yonaka Aiden! Woohoo! What a great insult, asswipe!"

"Hey! I didn't even--"

"Yeah, yeah, we all heard it. Now get to it, sucker!"

Aiden sighed in defeat, my sarcasm beating his logical ass. As he was almost getting the last bind of the rope undone, the light in the room turned off.

"Hey! What the heck?!" Aiden complained, just when he was almost done struggling off the ropes that bound him to the ceiling. I groaned in annoyance, clenching my fists and eyes closed. Untill something unusual happened. I could see in the dark.

"A - Aiden, are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"What do you mean? We're literally blind, plus I'm not you!!"

"Aiden, g - go to the left."

"Why would I do that?"

"Just do as I say, nimrod!"

"Okay, geez.. Fine." He struggled but still swinged to the left, surprising me.

"A - Aiden, I - I think I can see in the dark." I blurted out, I could see Aiden's mouth, almost at a loss for words.

"Okay, Shiro. Guide me through this so we can get out of here and help Soul." He muttered, loud enough to hear so I just went with it.

"Ok Aiden, put your right hand on the left, and put your left to the rope..." I continued to help him throughout the procedure, and he fell down with a bit of impact but still.

"What do we do, now?" He asked, feeling clueless. He shrugged, and I facepalmed.

We pushed at the metal door, seeing that it was locked, "Well, that's locked."

I roll my eyes, "Of course it is. Thank you for pointing it out, Captain Obvious." He chuckles, but I saw a dent on the wall. A peculiar dent, actually. It looked like it was painted on, and as I approached it, a red flashing light erupted from above, surprising both of us.

"Patients Number 05302035 and Number 03052033, please approach the door in front of you for your evaluation." An automated voice had said, sending me into a confused state. Wait... Patients?! I exclaimed in my head as Aiden and I turn to the door, opening by itself.

"Okay, now that's just plain weird."
