Shiro's POV
I calmly collected myself to try and go out to buy some stuff downtown. I got on the motorbike that I secretly hid in my friend's house, Hansung. Luckily, I have a spare key of their garage door. I almost forgot my helmet, which is pretty dope because I look like that headless girl in Durarara. Anyways, enough talk let's get into some action.
I sped through the tall buildings and small stores, noticing something that caught my attention. I immediately went to that small, simple store where I have found my target. MANGA!!! I immediately went in, and thank goodness did I have my wallet with me. I searched the store for some YAOI manga, there are even a few more shonen jump series that have been updated! Thank goodness there are new chapters! I quickly bought the stuff I needed and went, until another thing caught my eye. Is that Artemis? I sped through the traffic, and looked inside the window of the house. Gosh, does he have to live in the downtown area here? More of the fun to know about him. I see him talking to someone, a girl? Although I can hear their very faint voices, I can still understand what they were saying. Something about a witch, perhaps? I kept on listening, but then Soul saw me, and I quickly retreated. I bit back a scream when someone tapped on the shoulder.
"You okay, there, loca? You seem to be deep with this guy here." Aiden whispered, and I gave a glare back at him as a response. I almost was going to say something, but a voice interrupted me. A voice well too known.
"What are you doing here?" Artemis asked, his voice becoming stern.
"We were spying on you to get some certain information about you, right, Shi-chan?" Aiden interrupted, nudging me in the arm.
"Of course, it's the legendary lycanthropus, Yonaka Aiden. It's a pleasure to meet you." Artemis did a full-on bow, showing respect for Aiden. I looked back at Aiden, his eyes shimmering a dark red, and then a golden yellow.
"And the human who survived a couple of months with a crazed vampire named Yamato Ruki. What a lucky little girl. Pleased to meet you, Hachiko Shiro." A woman with a full-on gear for killing, might be a worse way to call it. But I was beyond shocked. I was beyond confused. It was as if I was shaking with anticipation of what to do next.
"You don't mind coming in, do you?" Artemis said, snapping me out of my (Jung)shook state.
"Yeah, why not?" I wholeheartedly said, applauding myself for not stuttering.
"And for the record, this is just a boarding house. We can train here if ya want." Artemis added, ensuring me with giving the ok sign to train and fight.
"So, why are you here?" Artemis asked. I spoke the truth, actually stuttering.
"I-I saw y-you from a nearby w-window. I w-was curious i-if it was you." I stuttered. I mentally knocked myself out in my subconscious because I stuttered. I glanced at him again, he sure looks stunned.
"Are you a vampire, Shiro?" I looked down at my feet, carefully entering the household and answered with a simple answer.
"I... I don't know. I never really met my dad, and mom died when I was born. So it was just me and my big brother." I shyly said, contemplating if I knew or not.
"Do you want to come and eat?" Artemis asks, I nodded profusely. I haven't had something for a while.
"Are you okay with take out?" Artemis asks again. I just nod again. He picks up his phone from the counter and ordered take out. We waited for at least 26 minutes and the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it!" Me and Aiden said simultaneously. I got to the doorknob first and opened the door.
"Here's your order." The man with our take out said. I grabbed it, gave him the money, and as soon as I closed the door, I saw a glimpse of his smirk and his eyes turning violet, then red. I just ignored it and put the food on the table.
"Smells good. What'd you order?" Aiden said, running into the kitchen as fast as he can, just to savor the sweet smell of the food. Artemis was still on his phone, but he whispered as he slightly answered.
"Ramen with cheese takoyaki, and some side dishes of rice with chicken katsu curry.(I know so much lolz)" Artemis answered, he must be shy cause he ordered so many.
"OK, I'm gonna leave now, I have some hunting to do. Bye!" Artemis's sister said. I bid goodbye, and she left.
"Let's eat!" Artemis said to the two of us. Artemis sat down with me following, I inhaled the sweet aroma of the food, savoring the smell.
"It kinda smells fishy. Plus I'm already full." Aiden refused to eat, and I just shrugged.
"Well, more for me!" I said, and I got the plates and set it down for me and Artemis. He quickly chomped down his food, me following suite. I started to feel loopy.
"Well, well, well. What a pretty little girl, hanging out with such a bad boy." And then all I saw was black.
