We ran through the woods, it was dark and the trees surrounding us blocked any glimmer of the moonlight. The biting wind felt chillingly cold against my face, I lowered my head down as Harrison held my hand and pulled me along, weaving our way through the brambles.
"I think I can see a light," Harrison called out as he quickened his pace.
I couldn't look up, the wind was harsh and I clutched my jacket together with my other hand and started to run behind Harrison's giant leaping foot strides. I saw Harrison look over his shoulder and behind me. "It's getting closer, come on, hurry." He yelled and I didn't answer back. My heart was thumping away in my chest and I was starting to get breathless from running so much.
Harrison suddenly stopped and ushered me forward, it was a small box, "quick get in, we can hide here, it'll keep us safe while the wolf runs past." he said assertively.
"Ok," I replied, breathless and tired from the running. I stepped down into the box, it was deep and dark. I heard a howl and then as I went to beckon Harrison in, He quickly sealed the box over me, "Harrison......Harrison," I screamed.
My eyes flashed open as my body bolted upright. I gasped for breath quickly, feeling the air burn my throat as I took rapid breathes. My heart was pounding so fast I could feel my whole body shaking to the rapid pulse, reverberating around my whole body. My body was sweating, and I felt sticky. I brought my shaking hands up to my face and turned to look to my left. Harrison was wide eyed, lying on his side, his eyes were piercing, and I felt a wave of terror clutch at my heart again.
