"So, why didn't your best friend pick you up this morning?" Jamar asked, as he turned down the volume on the radio.
"We got in a fight, and I don't think we can make up from it. So in the process I lost all of my friends, so now I'm probably going to have to be a loner." I sighed.
"You can sit by me, and walk with me. Remember, we still have a date I had to rain check." He laughed, as he drove into the schools parking lot.
"Yeah, that would be nice. Thanks, for the ride." I laughed, as we got out of his car and walked up to the school.
"Look, you need a ride and I've got a car. Do you want to make this a daily thing after and before school?" He asked.
"Yes, thank you! I don't know how I'll ever thank you." I exclaimed, with a smile on my face.
"A date on Friday would be nice." He flirted, as we walked to class. I looked into his chocolate eyes, excited.
