Chapter 4: Small Talk

I was sitting in the teachers lounge, on the leather couch in there. I had made a copy of the key from Paige's dads set, so I could come and rest when I want to take a nap.

And none of the teachers ever went into here, they usually spent their breaks smoking in the teachers parking lot.

So I went in and laid on the couch, scrolling through Instagram. It was about 25 minutes, when I heard the door open.

"Sami? What are you doing in here? And why aren't you in my class?" Mr. Starr asked, as he sat across from me on the couch.

"You didn't hear about Alec, me, and the handcuffs?" I laughed, proud that my awkward story hasn't been told to everybody in the whole school.

"No, what does that mean?" He asked, with a confused look on his face. Paige's dad was a definite dilf.

He had dark wavy hair, hazel eyes, and huge muscles and a six pack. He was hot, and every girl at school had a crush on him.

He got a girl pregnant when he was 15! The girl didn't want to keep it, but Tyler's family wanted him to raise Paige. He was only 32 years old now.

"Well I got suspended for a week for it. So I'm just chilling in here until Paige gets out of school." I sighed, as he frowned.

"A week? You just had winter break." He laughed, scooting closer to me. I used to have this crush on him when I was little.

But I'm over that, I'm in lov- I mean I'm Alec's girlfriend. We've been dating for a year, we are meant to be. At least I think we are.

"Yeah, but it wasn't really my idea. It was Alec. Sometimes I feel like-" I stopped myself, I couldn't be talking about relationship problems to my best friends dad. Or my teacher.

"Hey, no! You can talk to me, don't think of me like a teacher. Think of me like, umm. Your friend or something." He laughed, with his warming smile showing.

He looked like he'd be a consoling person, so I opened my big mouth. Why am I like this.
