"Honey, are you all right?" My mother shouted, as she rapped her knuckles on the bathroom door. I shouted back, "nothing mom, I think I have the flu. I can't go to school today!"
"Ok, just lock the door!" My mom shouted back, and she left me alone in the apartment. She went to work, like she did every single day of her life.

I walked across the street to the creepy drugstore, which was full of smoke and dust. But that's where we got most of our groceries.
"Welcome Sami! I haven't seen you in forever." Mrs. Walters welcomed, with a big hug. She was always like a grandma to me, and her son chuck like a creepy perverted uncle. But it's ok.
"Hi Mrs Walters, can I buy a pregnancy test.. my mom has a scare again.." I lied, putting out a 20 dollar bill. She nodded, and put out two on the counter.
"I'll save you a trip. She always comes back and buys another one to make sure." She sighed, as she rang me up. I sheepishly laughed, and put them in a bag.
