"Samantha, Talias crying again!" My mother yelled from the kitchen, as she was making our dinner. I just started doing my homework, what a perfect time for her.
"Coming!" I yelled back, as I got up from the small desk that I had in my room. My mom was a big help, and I was glad that she was here.
"Here baby, I'm here." I cooed, as I took Talia out of her crib. She was about 4 months old now, and she had grown so much. She still had her sparkling blue eyes and her blonde hair had darkened to an ashy brunette.
"I'm so sick of always having the same routine." I sighed, sitting down on our couch and breast feeding Talia. My mom scraped dinner onto two plates, and set it on the kitchen table to cool.
"Well, you did have a child. It's a lot of responsibility Sammy." My mom sighed, as she sat next me on the sofa. I loved Talia but I just wished that-
Nothing. Never mind....
"Look. How about I give you a night off.... It will let you get some time out of the house. I'll watch Talia for you, go have fun!" My mom offered, taking Talia from me.
"Thank you so much! It's just what I needed!" I squealed, giving my mom a hug. She nodded, and as soon as Talia was asleep in her arms, she put her in her crib.
