"Well, it looks like Talia has Roseola. It's nothing major, infants usually contract this by the age of two. It takes under a week for it to run its course, so I recommend plenty of bed rest and a prescription of children ibuprofen. I sent it to the pharmacy, you just have to wait about 10 minutes for them to fill it and you will be set to go." The doctor informed us, and headed out the door. I was relieved that Roseola was all that it was, I would have a heart attack if it was something major.

"After you called me, I was in such a panic. I left all of my stuff back in my classroom, it's probably still a mess in there." Tyler laughed in relief, trying to clear the air. I nodded, and looked over at him.

"Am I invited to the wedding?" I asked softly, holding Talias Cartier in my arms. I gently rocked her back and forth, as she was sleeping. Tyler suddenly had a grim expression come across his face, and responded gloomily.

"Yeah, you are in invited. If you even want to come... It's.... It's not a big deal or anything... I mean..." He mumbled, trying to not think about it more than he had to. This whole thing was wrong. But it would be rude to tell him that...

"It's fine, I'll come. It's your wedding. I can't miss that..." I responded softly, setting Talia on the floor. I lost all of my baby weight, and some more. I haven't been eating that well lately, it's just been so hard. I just forget that I need to eat sometimes.

"Sam? Can I ask you a question..." Tyler asked, looking at me with his blue eyes. My heart started melting all over again, just like it did when I was in his class. I nodded slowly, fixing my position in the chair. My mom was in the waiting room, sleeping in her chair. She had started working at the factory again, on top of watching Talia.

"Why did you break things off the last time? Everything was going so good. And you just... Cut it all off." He asked, making it seem like I did this for no apparent reason. That's bullshit.
