"Are you sure you don't want to go to school. It is the first day of senior year." My mom asked, as I was reading a book on our couch. I looked up, and into her tired and worn out eyes.
She has been working more shifts since there was going to be an extra mouth to feed. But I still am going to give it away, I just don't care anymore. I can't raise it!
"I'm going to made fun of. Who wouldn't laugh at a 9 month pregnant girl. The baby is due any day now anyway, I can't go to school." I sighed, feeling the little baby kicking my stomach.
"Maybe you should go, to meet your teachers. Come on, do it for me?" My mother sighed, as she lit another cigarette. I glared at her, and she promptly started smoking it with a shrug of her shoulders.
"I'll quit after the baby is born. Promise. Now get dressed, your going to school." She raspingly argued, as she took another puff.
"Hey Jamar, turns out I am going to school anyway. Can you give me a ride."-Sam
"Sure babe, isn't it to close to your due date though?"-Jamar
"Yeah, but my mom insists on it. I don't know."- Sam
This was going to be hell.
