Veronica's POV

I woke up for another shitty day. I wasn't going to lie but Jughead was kinda attractive, to bad he's dating Miss. Perfect. I got changed to my outfit. I went out for breakfast when I saw Sweet Pea come out of his room still groggily. "Good morning Grouch." I teased. "I didn't get any sleep last night okay." He replies. "How come? Texting some girl" I say pouring myself some cereal. "I didn't get any sleep cause you were singing all night! I mean you have a beautiful voice but can't you do that shit during the day." He says rubbing his eyes. It was true though, I love to write and sing songs. The songs I wrote had meaning to them, and yeah they were kinda cheesy but it helped with My anxiety. "Sorry...I just had some stuff to get off my chest." I say taking a spoonful of cereal into my mouth. Sweet Pea just smirks at me, shit. "You Like Jones! Don't you?!" He yells, "shut up! And no I don't like him like that, I haven't even met him." I say firing back. "Oh really? So you driving him home doesn't say anything? Oh and those lyrics in your song gave out huge hints" he says smiling. I roll my eyes and put my bowl in the sink, "Were gonna be late." I say. He just smiles as he gets up and gets his stuff ready. I apply my makeup, and I grab my serpent jacket and purse. We then both go out and get on our bikes.
We drive by Jugheads trailer as we see him getting out and walking towards the Northside, Sweet Pea and I just ignore him head to towards school.

When we got school I went to my regular classes and I of course didn't pay attention in any it was finally lunch. And no Jughead was not there, probably cause little miss Betty told him to go there. There was a sudden announcement on the intercom,

"Attention Southside students, right now Southside High will be shutting down due to drugs. Please head to Riverdale High and/or a different school, please and thank you."

I smiled cause I could finally leave this shitty school. I looked for Sweet Pea, and he was with Fangs and Toni. "We're going to Riverdale High, we're gonna show those Northsiders whose the boss." Sweet Pea says as we walked out, Toni and I just rolled our eyes. We all got on our motorcycles and headed towards Riverdale High.

When we got to Riverdale High only a few other Serpents were joining us. We were of course greeted by the one and only Betty Cooper. We walked up to their table and we got out schedules and locker combinations. The red head boy kept staring at me, but he seemed like a player so I ignored his stares. Since we missed lunch at Southside we had lunch first.

The serpents sat close each other like we did at Southside. The school overall was nice, no drugs, and no annoying people...yet. I sat next to Toni, Sweet Pea, and Fangs as Toni was checking out some red head girl. I laughed at her heart eyes. Toni was bisexual, I found out when she said she had a crush on me, but at the time I HAD a boyfriend. Nothing really happened after, we did kiss once but it was out of friends or whatever, ever since Toni's been really open about her sexuality, and there she is now gnawing over Cheryl Bombshell.
Jughead Jones walked into the cafeteria with his girlfriend on his side. I watched him sit at a table with her, that red head, a kid with brown hair, and the Pussy Cats. They were a weird group, they were all so different. But let's just say they're table kept staring at ours. Jughead and I made eye contact a couple of times, and my stomach had butterflies when we did.

After school I was left alone. Toni actually had the guts to ask out Cheryl on a date who surprisingly was also bi. Fangs and Sweet Pea went to basketball tryouts and there I was alone left walking out of the school towards my motorcycle.
When I got to my motorcycle I was stopped by that red head, and Betty and Jughead behind him. "Hey, Veronica right? We were just wondering what you were doing all alone?" He asks. Why the fuck does he care, "I don't know...my friends are busy with their shit." I shot back kind of rude. "Okay calm down. I just wanted to know if you wanted to join us at Pops? Since you look like you're not doing anything why not." Betty says stepping in. "Yeah. Why not." I say sarcastically as they all put on a grin. "Okay see you there." Betty says. I fake smiled at them as they walked together to Pops. I rolled my eyes and hopped on my bike and drove to Pops.

I was the first one there of course so I sat in a booth and ordered myself a milkshake as I waited for them.
About 10 minuets later they arrive. They walk towards me with a smile as I just nod my head awkwardly. Jughead sits next to me and Betty sits across from him. And the red head sat in front of me still staring at me weirdly.
We sat there in silence for what seemed forever til Betty broke the silence, "So hows it like being in a gang...?" She says awkwardly. Jughead shots a glare at her as I realized I walked into a trap. "It's normal for me I guess...just dangerous." I say not looking up. "Oh okay. And why did you join a gang?" Betty asks. "I was put into a family on the Southside after I was abounded and I guess my brother and his friends got me into the idea." I say taking a fry. The three of them then started talking about some stuff while I was on my phone. I got a call moments after from Sweet Pea,

"What do you want Sweet Pea?"
"You need to come to the Whyte Worm right now, and I know you're with Jughead so bring him too, FP wants to talk to him."
"Oh alright is it like an emergency?"
"No shit Ronnie!"
"Fine we'll be there."

I looked back at the table who were looking at me concerned. "Jughead we need to go." I say pushing him gently out of the booth. I was already walking out when he stayed back to say goodbye.

Jugheads POV

"Where the hell are we going?" I ask Veronica as we walked towards her motorbike. "Whyte Worm. Your dad wants to talk to you." She says handing me a helmet. I raised an eyebrow as I got on and wrapped my arms around her waist.

I saw Betty through the window smiling weakly waving at me, as we headed to the Worm.
