Veronica's POV

You'd think that Jughead and I would've been dating by now but we actually grew apart.

With his whole family in town I was pretty much left out. We weren't even dating so I'd understand why.

Jughead and I were just friends. With benefits.

Even though i wish we weren't.

I actually started seeing people...I couldn't let Jughead keep playing me.

I grew anger for him. He would play me like a puppet. His dirty little puppet, that made me feel things for him and he would just leave me.

We were on a break at school which was a good excuse for not seeing Jughead everyday.

But the boys I was seeing weren't Jughead.

I was laying in bed late at night thinking. Thinking about my future...

I got a message from Reggie. Shocking.

Reg: Hey Veronica wondering if you want to go and get breakfast tomorrow? Sorry if this is sudden I just have something to tell you.

V: Umm okay, 9:30am sound good?

Reg: perfect! Goodnight 💤

V: night

I woke up and got ready to meet up with Reginald.

I knew he was a major flirt and player so I knew this was gonna be some trap, but I still insisted on going.

I put on a black crop top with high-waisted  black pants. Over that my serpent jacket with natural makeup. I even straightened my hair. Who was I impressing?

"Where are going dressed out so nice?" Sweet Pea stopped me as I was about to open the front door.

I cross my arms, "Why the hell do you care?" I rudely said.

"Um probably cause you've been trapped inside this trailer all week and now you're going out dressed up so nice. I for sure know you're not going out to see Jughead." He say angrily back. 

"How do you know?" I say carefully. "Jughead was just here. He said he was going to do some business and that he needed help which is what I'm about to go out and do." He says raising an eyebrow.

"Okay I don't give a fuck. Now please excuse me as I go out to Pops." I say shoving my way through.

I finally arrived to Pops as I hopped off my motorcycle.

I walked into Pops and spotted Reggie sitting in a booth. He waves as I made my to him.

I sit across from him. "Good morning Reginald, so what did you want to discuss?" I asked politely.

He laughs, "Come on V. Lo! Don't talk like if we were at some parent meeting." He laughs.

I laugh as-well.

As I was about to say something I heard the bell to Pops ring. I turn my head and I see the one and only Jughead Jones.

I turn back quickly but I knew he already saw me. Me and Reggie.

Fuck!

I sink into my seat as I heard footsteps coming.

"Well, if it isn't Reggie and Veronica." I hear him say. Did I mention my eyes were squeezed shut.

Why was I so afraid of him? We weren't dating, although we acted like we did.

I slowly opened my eyes to the sight of Jughead. And well damn, does this boy get hotter every time I lay my eyes on him?!

"Jughead. Isn't it funny bumping into you here." I say confidently setting my hands on the table.

"Well it is. Mind if we talk. In private." He says glaring at Reggie.

Reggie doesn't even hesitate or do anything! He just simply exits from his seat and goes off and talks to Josie. What a player.

Jughead sits in his spot. I can't even look at him in the eyes.

"Wow so you're replacing me with Reggie Mantle? Ouch. I know you would downgrade but not that low." He says smirking at me.

I roll my eyes, "oh please, how bout you go back to Toledo and fuck all the Florida girls you want." I say.

Jughead glares at me. I sarcastically smiled. "This was nice talk but I should go. Till next time Forstheye." I say sassily and strutting out.

He of course goes after me. I leaned against a wall at Pops smoking a cigarette.

"Jughead! So you're stalking me now?" I asked glaring at him. He shook his head and put his hand against the wall next to my head.

"You see Veronica, I like girls like you. You play hard to get." He says putting his other arm on the other side of me, trapping me.

I stayed glaring at him. "But remember this, you can play and tease but you'll never be able to escape me." He says examining me from head to toe.

He then held my chin up with his index finger, "Just warning you."

He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. He forced his tongue inside my mouth.

I shoved him off of me even though I wish I hadn't. But I had to show him that I was not falling for him.

He released me from his trap and left winking at me.

Damn, he was still hot.

I'm really in my Jeronica feels cause of episodes 4 teaser! Even though it's Fp and Hermione I'm still gonna take it as Jeronica content😍
But I really made this update hot asf! Damn am I good.
