You Don't Know Anything - Vughead/Jeronica Fanfic

Chapter 4;

Veronica's POV

I woke up forgetting that Jughead had even stayed over. It was another school day and I woke up an hour before my alarm went off. Don't you just love that.
I got up and decided to play a song I wrote a while ago when Nick and I...broke up.

I was cut off by someone knocking on my door. I stopped playing and opened the door to see Jughead. I forgot he was here. "Good morning." He says leaning against the door frame. "Morning Jughead..." I say anxiously. "You sing and play guitar?" He asks me. "Uhh yeah...sorry if it woke you up. I forgot you stayed over and Sweet Pea and my parents are usually used to it." I say in a rush. I was embarrassed someone other than my family heard my songs. He just smirks and raises an eyebrow. We were just staring into each other's for an awkward moment which seemed like forever until he coughed and tried to play it off.

"Well I was gonna go meet with Betty before school. Beautiful song though..and of course voice." He says walking out with a smile. I blush as he closed the door and heads out. Shit I was falling for him.

Jugheads POV

I was walking Betty to school. "So what did you and your dad talk about?" She asks. I didn't want to tell her I was joining the serpents yet. "He just wanted to know if I was comfortable coming back to Riverdale." I nervously reply. She knows I'm lying but she just nods.

When we got to school we sat together in the lounge. Then came Veronica, Sweet Pea, Fangs, and Toni. They all got dirty looks from many of the northsiders. Betty waved at Veronica signaling her to sit next to us.

"Hey V." She says. "Betty, Jughead." She greets us while flipping her hair back. Archie walks in late as usual with Reggie. "Hey hot stuff." Reggie shouts walking pass Veronica. "I'm not a stuff. Go fuck yourself." She says back as he walks away. I was shocked. I could see how mean and rude she can actually be.

Archie sat in a chair next to me, "Jug there's a football game tonight, wanna come and support me and the team?" He asks me. Betty nods in agreement as Veronica stares at me. She was trying to tell me about we had to go to the Worm after school. Shit. "Uhh I'm busy, sorry." I say. Betty and Archie looked confused. "What are you doing Jug? That you have miss out on the game." Betty says suspiciously. Before I opened my mouth Veronica answers for me, "His dad wants me to show him around the Southside. Like all the new places since that's where he's gonna spend most of his time." I nod in agreement. "Can I join?" Betty says. Veronica's mouth was left hanging. "Ermm...babe it's not safe." I say trying to convince her. "It's okay. Veronica's going and she's a serpent. She'll make sure we're okay and I want to be there with you. It your home." She says comforting. I need to tell her the truth.

"Betty...the truth is that I'm not gonna be shown around the Southside. I'm gonna become a serpent." I say nervously.
Bettys eyes widen. "Jug...why." She says. "My dad. He wants me to join. I mean it is a family tradition, Betts." I say. "You're such a bad lair Jug." Betty says angrily. I was telling the truth.

"I'm not lying Betty it's the truth! I swear! That's why my dad called me." I shot back. "Jug I know your dad. He was probably drunk or something! He wouldn't tell his son to join some dangerous gang!" I just shook my head and left. This was actually our first big fight we've had...

Veronica's POV

"Wow Betty. You made Forsthye cry." I teasingly day as she watches him leave the lounge.

Betty sits back down with her arms crossed. "You can stay here and pout I'm actually going to talk to him. Cause I'm a good friend who supports him." I say getting up and following Jughead. Why was I even doing this? I don't chase boys.

Betty's POV

I swear Veronica Lodge is trying to take my man away from me. I needed to get on Jugheads good side anyways he's still my boyfriend.
I was going to support him. Be the nice girlfriend, and I could possibly even join the serpents. To show him my love and that I'm better than Veronica.

Veronica and Jughead came in minutes later. He looked mad at me, but Veronica made him come in.
"Jug, I'm really sorry...I was just...shocked. But I love you and I should support you on this. From now on I'll support your choices and the Serpents, cause I love you Jughead." I say. He looks up softly smiles. Veronica smiles too. "Betty, thank you. I know it came out sudden but what I told you was true. And I love you to Betty Cooper." He says back to me. Then he softly kisses me.

Veronica turns around and talks to Sweet Pea, was she jealous?
