Jugheads POV

I dropped off Veronica in my trailer. I was outside smoking my second cigarette of the day. If I die, oh well.

I threw the remains of the cigarette in a tray outside.

I went inside to a sleeping Veronica. Finally. It's like taking care of a child.

I checked my phone and of course, 26 missed calls from Betty, 127 messages from Betty, 14 missed calls from Archie, and 75 messages from Archie.

I just went to sleep very early. Crying.

Betty's POV

Shit.

Jughead had saw me and Archie kiss. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

He had someone with him. It appeared to be Veronica. Something was different though.

Archie and I called his name to explain ourselves.

Jughead was already half way gone when we stepped outside. Shit.

I walked back into Pops, thinking about the mistake I just made. But maybe it was for the better.

I mean I've always liked Archie. I never stopped. Jughead was more of a distraction from my feelings for Archie. Maybe it was for the best.

But when Archie told me he liked me a few weeks ago, my heart exploded and we kissed. Sooner or later it turned to be a make out session. That's when all this "cheating on Jughead" started.

I should still talk to Jughead about this.

Archie came inside after me and comforted me, "Betty, we'll tell him. And then everything will be alright." He says grabbing my hands.

"Thank you Arch, I think we should get going now. Think of way to solve this." I say staring into his hazel eyes. He nods and we hold hands walking out.

God was he the best.

Veronica's POV

I woke up getting up groggily.

I noticed I was in Jugheads trailer and that I woke up at 4am. Damn we had school, since we did skip yesterday.

Jughead was still sleeping and I had a major headache. I took some pills FP had just on the coffee table. Typical.

I quietly snuck out of his trailer I left a note. Something didn't seem right about him though. He looked depressed, but when isn't he?

Like he was heartbroken.

I sneakily crept inside my trailer, trying not to make a sound since I didn't want to feel the rage of Sweet Pea.

I felt a wave of relief when I made it to my room.

I quickly changed and got ready for another school day.

Sweet Pea was ignoring me like usual. Especially because of yesterday's argument.

I grabbed a granola bar and I headed out onto my motorcycle. Not giving a fuck.

When I arrived to school Betty approached me worriedly.

"V...we're friends right? Ummm something might've happened last night..." she says almost shaking. "Sure Betty...what happened?" I ask nonchalantly.

We walk to a corner of hallway. "Yesterday I was out with Archie because he said he needed help on an assignment, and well...we might've kissed. And this wasn't the first time...I think I like Archie...more than a friend and Jughead might've saw us yesterday and I don't know what to do!" Betty said hyperventilating.

I hold her. "Betty calm down. Jughead probably didn't see. Matter of fact he's probably happier than ever to see yo-" I was stopped with of course Jughead walking into the building.

His eyes were red and puffy. His head was down with his hands in his pockets. Damn it.

I turned over to Betty who was freaking out. "Scratch that thought. He saw." I say trying to enlighten the mood. "What am I gonna do?!" Betty whispers trying to hide.

"Talk to him. Just end things. It's better for the both of you. I'll be right by your side, it's gonna be alright B." I say calming her down. She takes a deep breath as we approached Jughead who was at his locker.

"Jughead can we talk." Betty started. Jughead slowly turned around and nodded. "I'm sorry Jug...but...I like Archie. You will always be my first love, and I think we should end things...we shouldn't be hurting each other, and I wish the best for you. And I can't be your queen...I hope we can be friends still?" Betty says confidently.

Jughead eyes start to water. "I understand Betty. And we can of course be friends. Just remember I never stopped loving you...and I don't know if I could ever stop but...goodbye Betty Cooper." He says looking down.

I feel like a third wheel.

I hug Betty a goodbye, "Good Job B, I'll see you in third period." I say and she nods wiping away some of her own tears.

I walk up towards Jughead, "You Alright? I mean I know how much you and Betty loved each other and I just wan-" I was cut off by Jughead leaning down to my height level and kissing me.

Luckily no one saw us. Everyone was minding their own business.

I pulled away trying to process everything. Umm he just kissed me.

"Well you moved on fast." I smirked. "See you at lunch." He says smirking back and leaves with a wink.

This boy is really playing with me. Well two can play it like that. And I walk into Chemistry.

Convenient I know.
