You Don't Know Anything - Vughead/Jeronica Fanfic

chapter 10;

Veronica's POV

We stepped inside his dads office. It smelt like cigars and ass.

"So lets talk Jughead." I say leaning against a small wooden desk. Jughead was leaning against the wall looking down.

"Veronica, I'm sorry for calling you a slut back there. It was unintentional and uncalled for. I'm sorry." He apologized.

I nodded.

It was completely silent for a while.

Why not add to the cigar smell.

I pulled out a pack of cigarettes. I lit one up and inhaled it slowly. Jughead looked up and rolled his eyes.

"Don't try to burn this place down." He said sarcastically. "I'm all about ice Jones" I say smirking.

I finished the cig put the remaining s on a tray FP had on his desk.

"Veronica, about last night...it was nice in the moment, but I have a girlfriend and I hope you agree with me on this that we shouldn't mention that night ever again, and that this should just stay only between the two of us." Jughead says.

"Sure Jug, Whatever you say." I say innocently. Jughead looked at me confused.

"What? You seem unsure about this" he asked. "Oh nothings wrong." I say smiling weirdly at him.

"Somethings up with you? What is it, Lodge?" He says getting closer to me.

"The fact that you still stand by Betty. She's a stone cold bitch, and you're like under some spell. I mean I know many things about her." I say staring at him.

Jughead just shook his head and put his index finger up to his lips. "I'm starting to get the feeling that you're jealous of her or something." He says. I'm shocked.

Maybe I was, but only because she was dating Jughead. Again I don't know how I feel about him. I just ignored my feelings 50% of the time.

"No." I say blankly. Damn it seemed obvious I was lying.

Jughead laughed. "I knew it! You're just jealous." He chuckled.

"Keep dreaming Jones." I roll my eyes. He stayed there leaning chuckling. I headed towards the door to leave when he grabbed my hand and stopped me.

I tried to escape his hands but he had a strong grip. "What?! I thought we were done here" I say crossing my arms.

"We're just getting started, Veronica." He says.

"What's so important now." I say. I just wanted to leave his presence. I had to much on my mind to be dealing with him.

"Veronica lemme tell you something, we went to elementary school together right? I'm guessing you don't really remember but by the swing sets was where you told me you had a crush on me." He smirks. I rolled my eyes.

"That was Elementary school. And I don't even want to talk about what happened after." I say. "But I do. I liked you too, and I kissed you right there. My first kiss. The next week you were gone with a foster family on the SouthSide. And we never saw eachother again, til now " He says looking down.

He was right. Jughead was my first kiss. My first crush, and my bestfriend. I guess I forgot about him, and he played along.

"And why are you telling me this?" I say. He takes a step closer. "Because...when I saw you in the cafeteria at Southside High...those feelings returned." He said.

I had no words.

He still liked me. The worst part was that he had a girlfriend. And maybe I liked him too...

Jugheads POV

I told her.

Yes I had a small crush on Veronica, but when we kissed at Cheryl's party it was like my heart confirmed them.

She just stared at him with a serious look on her face.

"Jughead, you have a girlfriend. I appreciate it though." She says.

Again Veronica was about to leave the office. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards me.

"You're not going anywhere Lodge." I say as our faces were just inches apart. She stared at my lips with no expression.

I put my thumb on her lips as I caressed her face.

I leaned in.

Just before our lips touched Veronica backed away.

She put her index finger up to my lips which stopped me.

"I'm not that easy Jones. Plus I don't think you want to kiss a slut." She says rolling her eyes and exiting the room. And slamming the door.

Before she completely slammed the door she winked at me.

Well shit.
