As lunch arrived I had no idea where to sit today.
I'd usually sit by Betty, Archie, Kevin and on some days Veronica would join us.
Today was a day where I guess Veronica was still mad at Sweet Pea and she decided to sit by us. And she brought Toni and Cheryl with her.
I stood in the middle of the cafeteria trying to decide on where to sit.
As I was about to bolt and eat in the Blue and Golds room Veronica came up to me.
"Jughead. Although things are awkward between you and Betty you said you'll still be friends so come on. Toni, Kevin, and Cheryl are still there." She says with a soft smile.
I smile back and shrug. "Why not?" I say and I follow her towards the table.
I saw Betty laughing with Archie and her smiling and showing him more compassion then she ever showed me.
Betty's laughter then stops once I sit next to Veronica. Betty was sitting across from her.
Lunch was quiet. Only small talk was made amongst Veronica, Cheryl and Toni who were conversating over a movie, Sierra Burgess is a loser?
"Sierra was a shady mean girl the entire movie! She manipulated and catfished a boy and still got the boy?! I think Veronica should've been with him." Cheryl ranted.
"The girls name is Veronica?" Kevin asked. "Yup." Veronica' said.
"Plus Jamie's and Veronica's ship name is way cuter than any other ship name in the world." Toni says. "What their ship name?" Veronica asked.
"Jeronica." Cheryl smirked.
"Hmmm...that ship name sounds familiar?" Toni said sarcastically. "You guys are childish. Calm your asses down." Veronica said laughing.
"Wow. Really funny guys. I'm skipping the rest of the day." I say sarcastically picking up my lunch tray and getting up.
"Have fun." Veronica said. "Nope, you're joining me Lodge." I say.
"And why is that?" She says crossing her arms. "Business." I say sounding really stupid. "Jug if she doesn't want to go then you should just leave her." Archie butts-in.
"Why? So you can make-out with her and fuck her like you did to MY EX GIRLFRIEND." I snapped at him.
"Juggie please calm down. We can talk about this later, just please don't create a scene." Betty says in her sweet calming voice.
I calm down and I leave. In the distance I hear heels behind me. "Where to?" I hear.
I turn around to see Veronica. "Whyte Worm." I say smirking. She smiles back and walks to her motorcycle. This was gonna be fun.

Veronica's POV
"I better go with him before he kills himself. I'll text you guys after." I say to Cheryl and Toni. They salute me and smirk. "Have fun Jeronica." Toni teased as I was half way out of the cafeteria.
