(Jade POV)

Sitting up, I rubbed my eyes and stood up. Looking around, I saw that the ground was almost completely black; it was charred and scorched from my fire. There was the remainders of the dark vampires bodies everywhere, and random piles of ash scattered about. Sighing, I rubbed my temple and started to run towards the tree where I guessed Niamh and Sarah were.

Jumping high into the air, I grabbed a branch and swung myself up, onto the wide branch where Sarah and Niamh were lying; Jonas and Shane hovering over them protectively.

Sitting down, I swung my legs back and forth, bored, waiting for my sisters to wake up so we could talk.

"Jade?" Shane said, interrupting my random train of thought.

"Yes?" I replied, not bothering to look at him.

"What's happened to Niamh and Sarah?!" Jonas interrupted, his voice filled with panic.

"First of all, Jonas, don't you know it's rude to interrupt, and second of all, they are just asleep." With that, I climbed onto a higher branch, lying down and covering my eyes with one hand.

About twenty minutes later, I felt the branch creak from beneath me, and voices echoed throughout the tree.

"Is she awake?"

"What's wrong with her?"

"Why is she up there?"

"Is she in a mood again?"

That last one made me laugh. Sitting up, I swung my legs around and looked down at my two sisters and their mates.

"We need to talk" Niamh stated, looking up at me.

"Well nah. Know shit Sherlock" I commented sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

"Yep, she's definitely in a mood" Sarah said, grinning whilst rolling her eyes enthusiastically at me.

"You could say that again" Shane said grumpily, rubbing his head after I threw an acorn at him with precise aim.

"Can it, smartass" I said, narrowing my blue eyes and giving him my world famous death stare; Niamh has said before it could make a grown man cry, what can I say? I'm just that cool.

"Well, are we gonna talk or what?" Sarah said, breaking mine and Shane's death stare competition up. Not that it was much of a competition; he looked like he'd wet himself.

"Whatever" I replied, jumping down onto their branch and leading Niamh and Sarah to a corner where Shane and Jonas probably wouldn't hear what we were discussing.
