"You're father?" Nathaniel asked.

"Janessa?" My father asked softly, his face was covered in smeared dirt.

"Don't expect me to come running into your arms, lycan." I didn't even think he deserved the title 'father' so I called him what he was. A lycan who meant nothing to me.

"Lycan? So I'm not even your father?" He took a couple steps forward. Suddenly, a blast of icy wind burst through the halls and my hand gripped a sword that wasn't there before. The necklace wasn't on my neck.

The sword was silver and had moons engraved on the blade. "Stop right there!" I screamed at him. Tears welled upon my eyes. I was pointing a sword at my father. Nathaniel and Caspian backed up from me also.

"Princess?" The lycan that claimed to be my father asked me.

"No! You do not get to call me that! Why are you here! Just leave, you shouldn't be here unless you came to be killed!" I screamed at him.

"At least know my name. It's Kaydon." He put his hands up. "I know you hate the name, but it's mine.

Nathaniel looked at me, his eyes wide. "Stop! Stop! Stop!" Tears spilled over my cheeks. "Stop! Please." I dropped to my knees, the only thing I heard was the sword hitting off the floor. Nathaniel ran at the sword before my father got it.

Nathaniel's P.O.V

I watched as Janessa dropped to the floor in tears. Then my head snapped in the direction of her father. He was already running at her and the sword. So, I dove as fast as I could to grab the sword. I grasped it and stood up before he got to it.

"Nathaniel. You don't have to do this." Her father spoke as I lifted the tip of the sword to his chin.

"Yes. I do. You started all of this. You were the one who caused that attack on the Castle. You were the Alpha of that damned pack. The one that broke my home and killed my parents, and my little brother. This is on you! So you don't get to call her your daughter or your princess.
She is mine." I growled the word so loudly even Janessa flinched.

J stood up and looked at her father, her eyes were so full of wrath and, god, did I love her so much then. "You were the Alpha of the pack you said were attacking the castle? They weren't even attacking the castle? Just the village? You made us flee for no reason? I could've lived a normal life with my family but instead you put me in with that hellhole of a family? They put me in a damn asylum!" She screamed at him.

"You lived in the castle?" I asked Janessa. She looked up to me and as I looked at her face for what felt for the first time, she nodded her head. "I lived in the village. His pack killed my family. I've wanted revenge ever since."

"Go ahead." She growled. "I want to watch."

I had no idea where the Janessa I knew went, but I knew this wasn't her. And I could understand the misery she felt so, I plunged the sword inside of the guys heart. I looked at Janessa after I did it and as his body hit the floor, not a single tear came out of her eyes. Then she grabbed the sword and it disappeared in her hands; the necklace reappearing around her neck, and walked away.

"Let's go." She snarled.

We walked down the hallway in silence, me and Caspian mind-linking in the process.

What the hell did I just watch? You killed her father. Cas spoke to me.

Yeah. I did. But she didn't seemed fazed. It's like she wanted it as bad as I did. I could feel her rage radiating in my chest. That has got to be a lot of rage in order for me to feel it. I was so confused.

I grabbed her hand and she squeezed it slightly and looked back at me. She smiled and I smiled back. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you." I whispered back to her. She couldn't possibly know how much those words meant to me. I love her beyond words, it's beyond love, it's passion. She's my passion. And in a world we're this divine creature was never born, I would never find a will to live, another passion. She is my everything. My whole damn world. And I'd never want to lose her.

She smiled and faced forward again. "It's simple, really." I told her.

"How is love simple?" She asked me.

"It's simple because it can be summed up into three words." We were still walking down the hall, not as fast, just slowly, wasting no time, yet all the time in the world.

"What would those be?" She asked.

"You complete me." I whispered.

"Okay. Enough sweet crap. There's a war going on remember?" Cas spoke, breaking the mood.

"Jealous!" Janessa spoke. And turned around to face the both of us, yet kept walking. She pointed at Cas and smiled so big. We all laughed and Cas rolled his eyes.

"Whatever you'd like to think. Come on! War is happening!" He began running down the hall.

Before Janessa could follow him, I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her on the lips so hard and wrapped my arms around her, breathing in her scent, as she does with me sometimes.

Then I let her go. "Come on." I whispered.
