Chapter 29

*fast forwarding to Vidcon*

Troye's POV:

I quietly get dressed and sit at the bar in Tyler's kitchen. Everyone keeps telling me that it will get better, but every day I feel like I'm losing him more and more. We all act okay and happy in front of the camera, except Ricky he hasn't filmed or uploaded a video by himself since the accident. It hurts so much to go to these events, because we have to see the fans with tears in their eyes and help them when it is us that need their support.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I hear Tyler whisper and I sigh before standing up. I haven't been sleeping well, cause of Tyler's nightmares. When he has one it takes him over and I can never wake him up. I just have to sit there and listen to him scream and cry. He doesn't know he does it at night... I don't want to tell him and make him even more upset.

"You look good," I tell him and walk outside to the car with Zalfie in it. Tyler and I sit in the middle section, making room for the O2L boys. We idle outside the house for a good five minutes until Kian, Trevor, Sam, and JC walk out of the house.

"Where's Ricky?" I ask.

"He said he didn't want to come, we can't get him to leave his room..." Kian says heartbroken and all of the boys look exhausted.

"I'll go talk to him, wait for me." I get out of the car and walk to Ricky's room. I knock, then open the door to find him dressed and sitting on his bed holding on to his Pokemon stuffed animal.

"Ricky," he cuts me off.

"I can't go Troye... It hurts," he says with tears streaming down his face. I wrap my little arms around him and hold him comforting him.

"We all are, but we are stronger together and Ricky you are the bravest person I know. You are so kind, caring, and a wonderful person. But, you can't stay in here all day... Connor would've wanted you to go to to vidcon and play that video." I point to the flash drive Ricky holds in his hand. He sighs and then gets up.

"Okay... Let's go, just don't leave me alone," he says with such sadness in his voice.

"I promise one of us will always be there for you," I walk beside him to the car and we get in. It's silent the whole car ride which was only ten minutes. Alfie pulls into the right parking garage where he is met by a cop asking to see his parking permit. Zoe gracefully shows the cop and he allows in. Alfie parks the big vehicle and we all pile out. Soon as our feet touch the ground we are swarmed with vidcon staff.

"We are doing the BIG show stage in fifteen minutes where you will all be announced to come on stage, you know what to do. So each one of you have an assistant that will keep you on time and get you to place to place. Okay? Let's go this is it people!" The main staff person tells us and we are all lead different ways. Tyler to go meet up with Hannah to announce and begin vidcon. O2L boys to their room or space or something. Zoe and Alfie to the British group. I'm lead over to my spot in the line-up, I'm right before O2L, who are last... For obvious reasons. I see Hannah and Tyler walk onto stage and the crowd goes wild.

"Alright alright who's ready for vidcon?" Hannah says with a warm smile.

"First off we'd like to announce all the people here for your viewing pleasure." Tyler say with a wink and I doze off into my thoughts while Hannah and Tyler name off everyone. One by one they walk across the stage and then head to the back to continue to watch on the monitors. I'm brought out of thoughts by Kian nudging me.

"Almost your turn," he whispers as the person in front of me walks up on stage. I nod and leisurely walk to the stairs.

"Next up is someone that has a big secret to tell us later on, I promise you we will make him tell you. TRXYE aka Troye Sivan," Tyler says with an evil smirk. I laugh and walk across stage smiling and waving. I stop on the other side to watch.

"We need y'all to calm down for a second cause we have something serious to discuss and tell you," Hannah says in a serious tone.

"We'd like to introduce Our 2nd Life to the stage. They would like to speak for a second, so please give them your attention and be respectful." Tyler says. With that the boys walk on stage, Tyler hands Trevor the microphone and Hannah hands the other one to Kian.

"Hey everyone..." Trevor says and looks at the other guys before continuing, "as most of y'all are aware of Connor is no longer with us..."

"We will be taking questions about that in our interview later on, but we have something to show you from Connor." Kian says seeing that Trevor was starting to choke up.

Tyler nods at the man in front of the computer and Connor's face appears on the monitors.

I'm a horrible at updating I'm sooooo sorry! I promise to get my shit together. Next chapters are going to get serious between Connor's goodbye video, the q&a, and someone goes missing...
