Sometimes I just love to sit and believe that thousands of miles away there is a very clever detective and a very loyal ex-military doctor sitting in their flat together, not talking, and just living peacefully and happily in each other's presence.

Sometimes I just love to sit and believe that a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, wars are being fought and won and lost, and that balance is being restored and ruined by one family wreaking havoc on the whole galaxy.

Sometimes I just love to sit and believe that there are two brothers somewhere driving down a country road toward their next paranormal gig and arguing about music.

Sometimes I just love to sit and believe that books are really just doorways to parallel universes and that with enough magic and hoping and crying they will open up and let me in.

Sometimes I just love to sit and believe that there is a version of me that doesn't have to sit and believe and can just enjoy the world she's in instead of wishing she was in another.

Sometimes I just love to sit and believe.
