Is it hard? Is it hard being the one people want? Is it hard being chosen? Is it hard being loved? Do you find it difficult to be seen, to be talked to? Would you rather be invisible than acknowledged? Do you have trouble sleeping at night, knowing there is no one in your life who would be better off without you?
I can't even imagine what a burden it must it be for you. How do you cope with that?
I suppose you wonder if it's easy for me. Is it easy being ignored? Is it easy feeling alone even with my best friend beside me? Is it easy watching my friends talk about music and art and TV shows and wonder what the hell I'm doing there? Is it easy feeling I have no place anywhere? Is it easy being separated from the world by glass that is 50 inches thick?
No. No, I think the answer is no for us both.
