Mike P.O.V
I didn't really understand her anymore. Did she or did she not like me. This mortal really made no sense. She didn't stop me when we were in the cafeteria but still she crawled back to Pete. She blushed when I was near her but she avoided me. Did she hate me or love me? I tried to get over her but no one rejected Mike Makowski so easily. I had a certain spell over mortals.
Pete and I seemed like rivals now. Maybe even nemesis. Why would anyone like stupid faggy Pete? He was short and negative. At least I had a soul and I showed Jade some compassion Pete was just a walking zombie. I knew this wasn't going to be easy to get over. Somehow I had to get Jade back I loved her more than Twilight.
Jade P.O.V
Pete was still in trouble for the firearm on campus. He got in even more trouble when he came onto campus last week. He didn't care though. He said even if he was kicked out we'd find a way. Everything in my life was pretty normal. Firkle had finally let go of his grudge, Pete and I were officially a couple and Henrietta and Michael were happy for once. Pete didn't even seek revenge for the hickey Mike gave me. Pete's medication got a higher dose for efficiency. I was getting along with the vamps and some conformists. Everything in my life was finally happy. "Jade Miller to the principal's office immediately!" The principal shouted angrily over the speaker.
"Shit..." I muttered leaving my clique.
I sat in front of her staring dully. She looked at me nervously. "Why am I-" My head spun around as the door opened and I was face to face with Devin Miller.
"Mr. Miller and I have got a proposition for you." She said still nervous. I couldn't stop grinning as dad faced me with a grin.
"Jade, honey, you can come with me if you'd like..." He whispered. I gave him a confused look.
"What do you mean, I thought mom, gained full custody." I whispered. He gave me a wider grin.
"I requested a date in court to regain custody and your mother failed to show up... You can come with me back to North Park or you can stay here." I gave him another smile. I immediately frowned though, close to tears. "What's wrong sweetie?" He whispered hugging me.
"I need time to think dad... Please give me a week..."
