Chapter 27

~3 days later~

*Y/N's Pov*

I sighed looking over at Noah sleeping in his crib.
It's been three days and I haven't seen or heard from Nate since he left. I don't know maybe we were too much for him to handle. That's why he went off to find pleasure with someone else. He's probably off with Violet right now.

Wow. I really thought i was irreplaceable to him but i guess i was wrong.
"It's okay Noah. I'll give you all the love you need. You're my everything and i'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure you're happy and healthy." I tried to smile but a tear slipped out.

I felt my phone vibrate and picked it up.
It was Bella. I feel so bad I don't even know what I'm gonna tell her.
"Hey" I answered weakly.
"Hey Y/N we were wondering if you guys wanted to come over for lunch, my dads making lasagna." She said.
I really didn't know what to say.
"Um...it would be nice but..." I trailed feeling the tears wanting to come out.
"But what?" She asked. "Y/N is everything okay?"
"No...not really." I paused a bit and took a deep breath to try to get some strength. I walked out of the nursery slowly and went to sit on the couch. "Bella, Nate left. We had a fight three days ago, he walked out and I haven't seen him since."
"What?! What do you mean?! Oh my God. Nate isn't like this i can't believe it." She said.
"I know i can't either. I don't know maybe he just couldn't handle us or he got sick of me or ugh i really don't know." I said.
"Y/N, Nate would never. He loves you so much. You and Noah are everything to him something must've happened. I'm coming over right now okay!"
"Okay." That was all i could say before i hung up.

I looked at my phone. I still hadn't heard the voicemail from Nate. I don't want to hear his voice, I don't want to hear what he said. Anything he said couldn't change or take away the fact that he cheated.
I slid the notification to the right ready to delete the message but someone knocked on the door.

I wiped my tears away and took a deep breath before i stood up to get it.
"Y/N oh my God how are you?" Bella asked immediately embracing me in a hug.
"I don't know. I just...i can't believe this."
"I know i can't either. I didn't tell my dad or Benji but we need to talk to Nate, he can't just leave like that."
"But he did." I said weakly.
"And he just left all his stuff here? I mean we haven't called him in a while either but i know he would've told us something. What would he even be wearing? This isn't normal." She said worriedly.
"I know." I sighed.
"Here. Let me call him. We can find out where he is and i'll talk to him and make him fix things."

She dialed Nates number and it went straight to voicemail.
"Maybe his phone's dead right now. C'mon let's go for a walk and we can try again in a while."
"Alright." I said.

I went to get Noah and put him in his stroller.
"Ready?" She asked.
"Yeah" i half smiled.

We made our way out of the apartment to the elevator and out the building.
"Bella...I'm scared." I started. "I'm really scared cuz I don't know how i'm gonna do this on my own."
"You're not gonna do this on your own Y/N, Nate's always gonna be there and we're always gonna be there too. Now what happened? What was the fight about that he just stormed off?" She asked.
"It was about...ugh I don't even know what to say. Bella I don't want you to think bad about your brother cuz i know you and Benji look up to him and before this i did too." I said.
"What do you mean? Oh my God did he...did he hit you?" She gasped.
"No. No. No. I know he would never. He's not like that but...he cheated on me." We stopped our walk and again i felt like my world stopped. Saying it out loud broke me. "I found nudes on his phone and she said she was giving him what he asked for. I locked myself in our room and i guess he got frustrated that I didn't come out and...he left."

Bella was speechless. Part of me regretted even saying anything because i know how much she loves her brother and no matter how mad i am i know i still love him. I could never hate him, because of him i have Noah.

"Hey Y/N, haven't seen you in a while. How are you?"
I looked up and saw the last person i wanted to see.

Violet.

"What do you want?" I said coldly.
"Nothing. Just being polite and saying hi. I mean how rude of someone not to greet someone they know, friends or not." She faked smiled.
"Ugh." I rolled my eyes.
"How's Nate?" She asked.

Immediately i was confused. I mean he walked out on me because of her. I assumed he has been with her this whole time.
"What do you mean?" I frowned.
"Well i mean his dumbass fired me and I haven't seen him in a while. I was just trying to help him out, how ungrateful is he?"
"What do you mean trying to help him out?" I frowned.
"Yeah, well since you just had a baby not that long ago i mean he's probably soo sexually frustrated so i took the courtesy to help him out a bit." She was trying to sound so innocent it took all the power in me to keep my cool.
"You know what Violet whatever Nate goes through, is getting or not getting is none of your fucking business. Stop trying to ruin relationships and go make one of your own. Just stay away from me and my family!" I said and started walking away.

I rubbed my head in frustration.
"Y/N is everything okay?" Bella asked.
"No. It's not. I just i thought Nate would be with her but he's obviously not and now i'm really worried." I said.
"Here let's try calling him again." Bella said dialing his number.

My heart started racing after hearing that message. I was terrified.

"Let me call Devin, they're really close maybe he's with him or knows where he is." She said and dialed him.

"Hey cuz what's up?" He answered.
"Hey Devin, is Nate with you?" She asked.
"Nah, haven't seen him since last Tuesday. Why? Is everything okay?"
"No. Y/N hasn't seen of heard of him in three days and he's not answering his phone. We're getting worried."
"Wait. Seriously?! Three days?! Bella are you with Y/N right now? If it's been three days and he's not answering you guys need to go file a missing person report what if something happened to him!"
"No Devin please don't say that." I cried.
"Y/N it's gonna be okay. You guys go file the report and i'll make some calls to see if anyone's seen or heard of him."
"Alright. We'll go do that right now." Bella said before hanging up.

*Nate's Pov*

I slowly opened my eyes. Everything was blurry.
"Aaaah!!" I screamed in pain. The feeling on my back and abdomen was unbearable. I tried to move but every subtle move was followed by a shock of pain throughout my body.
I tried to move my arms but i was hand-cuffed around a metal post.
I don't know where i was or how long i've been here. One thing i know for sure was this was Jacks doing. I need to get out of here, Y/N and Noah are in danger.
"Y/N! Noah! SOMEBODY HELP!!" I screamed.
It felt useless but i need to get out i need to go protect my family.
