hey! this will be an happy one! may be some sad parts but are just thoughts.

i dreamt about this so i thought i could've done something with it. enjoy! (its late at night i'm sorry for the mistakes-)

stephen has been dealing with his hands for 5 years so far, but the pain and the tremors never stopped torturing him. he can't do most of the things a normal person does, like driving, drinking tea, writing and eating without getting dirty. it makes him feel powerless or that he became a kid again. he gets upset and basically isolates himself from everybody, tony included. most of the times he has breakdowns and cries, thinking about how much the accident changed his life completely. when the pain is too much, nothing can make it go away.
when he overworks, the scars often open and bleed. he tries not to think about it, but that flash of the memory always pops up in his mind.

stephen one day got so much upset because of it that had a huge fight with tony, telling him that he can't understand his pain and doesn't have the problems he has.

"stop it Tony! you don't even know what it means to be like this! " stephen shouts, breaking down and shaking

"stephen you need to calm down." tony talks back, trying to convince stephen to calm down.

" how can i stop uh? i can't even drink like a normal person.. i can't eat alone. i can't even tie up my goddamn shoes because it hurts like HELL!"

"Stephen.. this is getting over you. stop it!"

stephen looks at tony in the eye as he comes closer to him, an inch from his face

"i am literally disabled. what part of it can't you understand?" he says, firmly, mostly heartbroken.

"stephen.. i.."

"leave me alone" the tall man says, turning away and facing the window with watery eyes.

tony doesn't even reply back, he just nods and sighs, leaving him alone in the room. he closes the door but stays still, placing his hand on it.

"i am.. so sorry.." tony whispers, realizing how much that hurts stephen.

stephen is sitting on the floor, clenching his fists and breathing heavily for the pain. he just wants it to stop, he wants to have normal hands again.

meanwhile, tony is in the lab, designing some hand stabilizers for stephen with nanotech and little painless needles that contain a serum that will help stephen deal with the pain. he works on it all night, making it look perfect for his boyfriend. the design is like a bracelet that transforms in a glove when activated, with metal magnets placed all around it used as stabilizers. it's covered in red paint with some gold sprinkles to recreate the magic that stephen does. he makes every little detail on it, every single feature that stephen would love. he wants it to be perfect, just like stephen.

it's 6 am, and stephen is in his bedroom, still awake, feeling guilty for what he said to tony. he knows he didnt mean it, and that tony does as well, but he promised him that he would've stopped behaving like that. he promised him that he would've asked for help when he was in pain, he promised him that he would have always said the truth. he had to get it off his chest. his thoughts of being disabled killed him, his mind is furious and numb. he hates when it all takes over him in a matter of a second. but the ptsd makes him do that. it's not his fault. he may be able to control that but sometimes it's just too much.

panic attacks are often a factor as reaction to the pain. it happen when tony isn't at home or near him. stephen is currently having one, and doesn't have the air in the lungs to scream tony's name. he tries to reach for his phone to call him, and when he finally gets it, dials tony. when he picks up, tony seems concerned
