Calming the Storm

Chapter 8

"Rie, wake up!" 

I grunted as I hide inside my blanket. I feel like ngayon pa lang ako napapatulog, eh.

"Rie!"

I tried to sleep again, ignoring the continuous calling of my name.

"Wake the fuck up!"

He removed my blanket para wala na akong mapag-taguan. I opened my eyes and glared at him.

"What?" I asked, annoyed. 

I am now sitting in my bed looking at Nathan, nahilo pa ako sa biglaang pag-bangon. Bakasyon ngayon kaya I am allowed to sleep in peace.

"Seryoso ka? I thought you agreed to come," medyo naiinis din na sabi niya.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds and massaged my temple. I am freaking sleepy! Super aga pa kasi talaga!

"Yeah, but look, o. Still so early," I uttered and looked at Nathan. I even pointed at the window para makita niya na wala pa 'yung sun.

"Malamang ba-byahe pa! Bilisan mo na! Susunduin na tayo maya-maya," he said. He started walking away and slammed the door of my room.

I slept at around two in the fucking morning. I looked at the clock in my room and it made me annoyed again. He woke me up at around 4 am. I just slept for two fucking hours! It's still my fault because I finished watching the series I've been wanting to watch at around 1 am. The series released a new season kasi but naging busy ako for the finals kaya I need to prioritize my studies. Akala ko matutulog na lang ako that time but my things were not packed yet kaya nag-ayos pa ako before sleeping. 

Yes, I agreed to come. Theo and Nathan bugged me for a few weeks before I decided to come. Nathan offered free groceries for the next semester kaya who am I to decline him? It's a free stock of food for months after all. It's a win for me! Nathan knows na I'll just hibernate in my room for the whole vacation kaya he did his best to persuade me to join them.

I stood up bago pa bumalik si Nathan at hilahin ako patayo. Mag-aayos pa ako ng sarili ko. I'll just make it quick since Nathan's patience is not something to be test about. Buti na lang, the clothes I would wear today ay na prepare ko na kanina. I got out of my room to go to the bathroom but I instanly froze when I saw the guys in the living room. Three guys are here in my unit today... in this early time.

"Good morning, Rie!" Theo greeted me happily when he saw me looking at them. 

I blinked and just stared at them for a while. It was Theo, Nathan, and Enzo chilling in my living room. They are all set to go with their things lying on the floor. Nathan raised his brow at me and motioned me to get ready while Enzo naman just glanced at me for a bit but proceeded to do something with his phone. Theo waved at me and he's just wearing a white hoodie then grey board shorts. I didn't greet him back and proceeded to go to the bathroom.

I showered and did my morning skincare routine. I am now wearing a white halter top and denim ripped shorts with white belt. When I got out of the bathroom, I saw Nathan talking to someone over the phone.
