Calming the Storm

Chapter 19

"No, don't do that," I heard Gabby said. I looked at them and they were playing a game.

I just shook my head because nagiging competitive sila sa game. I gaze at the surroundings. We have an event today at school kaya we somehow have time to spare. We'll experience our last events in college this year. It's sad but it is what it is. If I'm going to med school naman, college is still a different experience.

"Let's go to Zaggy G," Gabby told me and I just nodded. 

I am wearing a blue Ateneo shirt tucked inside my denim shorts today. I partnered it with a classic white Nike shoes. I was supposed to wear a skirt but gusot-gusot siya and I was already running late earlier kaya I ended up with a denim shorts.

"Guys, picture first." One of our classmate pointed his camera at us and we stopped to smile for the camera.

We proceeded to go to Gonz after. We're with our classmates kaya some people was looking at us pag-pasok namin because a group suddenly came in. Medyo noisy pa 'yung iba kaya baka rin na-iingayan sila. I just got myself a sandwich and a drink because snack pa lang naman.

"Are you reviewing for NMAT?" Gabby asked after sipping on her shake and I nodded.

"Yeah, little by little pa lang," I answered after taking a bite on my sandwich.

"You're not sure to be a doctor in that case pa, ha?" She chuckled.

"I'm not sure in everything," I countered.

I fished out my phone when I heard it beeped.

"It's Theo, right? I know that smile na, babe." Gabby chuckled while teasing me. I gave her a small smile and ate my food.

"Yep, it's my boyfriend. You have one rin ba?" I teased back.

Her smile faded and rolled her eyes at me. "Finish your food before I finish you, Adrienne."

I laughed. Gabby pouted and kinausap na lang niya 'yung isa naming classmate. I replied to Theo naman after finishing my sandwich.

"Babyyy!!!" Theo excitedly called me as soon as he saw me walked out from the elevator. He hugged me tightly and he's just waiting pala sa labas ng unit ko. "Na-miss kita," he said then kissed me on both of my cheeks.

"How's med school?" I asked him when we got inside.

Theo and Nathan already started their med school journey. He seems somehow stress na nga rin and busy kahit kakasimula pa lang.

"Kaya pa naman, basta nandyan si Nathan." He chuckled. I raised my brow.

"So, he's your jowa in med school?" He laughed at what I said.
