"A scythe?! Wow! Just... wow!" Zeke commented as the light finally formed into the shape of a scythe.

"Why? What's with the scythe?" I asked.

"This is only the second time that a scythe is recorded as a main weapon for someone. And the first one was able to defeat the Devil King in a duel."

"That's not fair! And I get a stick?!" Heather complained.

"Don't worry, at least you have a weapon. The use of any type of weapons was considered obsolete a decade ago."

"But why teach it to us if it already became obsolete? Why did it become obsolete in the first place?" I asked.

"It became obsolete because there were only three beings who were able to unleash at least half of the potential of weapons. Namely, Chronos, a staff user, Jade Phoenix, the scythe user, and the Devil King, a sword user. The battle that almost completely showcased their weapons' potential was the one between Chronos and the Devil King, also called the battle for Khronos."

"So, who are they and isn't Chronos, Khronos? They had a battle for him?" Heather asked.

"I'll answer all of your questions later, but first..." he said as he raised his arm, "Weapons, reveal." His hand moved past all of our weapons and they materialized. I tightened my grip on the handles. My tonfas were colored black with white ends and were sort of thick and they almost reached my armpit. Rebecca's light materialized into black gloves with knuckle holes. Crystal's light materialized into small silver magnums. Now, that's what you'd call a pocket sized killer. Heather's light materialized into a pole or staff with metal ends and a metal part in the middle. Ashley's light turned into a scythe with a black blade with a wavy pattern on the inner edge. It had a dark brown body and its grip was somewhat closer to the blade. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I'm envious of Ashley's weapon.

"Well, Heather, looks like you're in luck. Your weapon has the same properties as the staff of the monkey king." he said as he saw her weapon.

"What does that even mean?"

"It means that your weapon has the innate ability of stretching to great lengths. The only thing you'll need to do is learn how to use that ability."

"How about my tonfa?" I eagerly asked. I really wanted to know.

"There are two things you need to know about tonfa. One, this is the first time I've seen someone have tonfas as their main weapon." he said. I felt a little bit happy to know that. "And two, tonfas are considered joke weapons."

"What?! But, why?" I asked. Well, that's a bummer. I could hear Heather muffling her laughter.

"Well, the only ones who can really utilize tonfas are humans. It's because there are so many other weapons that are better than tonfas. Plus, it's really hard to use in a real fight. But I admit, your tonfas look different than the ones I normally see around the world."

"Tough luck, kid." Heather said.

"But, if I pull this off, then I'll be the first ever, right?" I asked. He just nodded. "Well, that's enough for me." I won't give up so easily. I have an advantage with tonfas since one, I'm human, and two, um, I'm human.

"Well, it's good to see that you can find something positive about a joke weapon." he said.

"I have a question. Why do our weapons look different from the norm?" I asked.

"Each primary weapon is completely based on one's whole self. The personality, the mind, the heart, the soul and all those things."

"So, what does my weapon say about me?" Heather asked.
