Chapter 14

Pain and embarrassment
Skyler's P.O.V
I woke up and I was in pain...w-why is there blood on the bed?...I looked at my stitches and the were fine...oh shit!...I forgot about my period...I can't drive to the store...I'll have to ask one of the boys to drive me to the store...I'll just tell them I need pain medicine...ugh my leg hurts..and I have really bad cramps...I'm just gonna get out of bed and go to the rest room.
Oh my god! Why do they have tampons?! I should just take one...but it's the last one...ugh fine I'll take it.
I went out to the living room and sat awkwardly on the couch

Colby-"Skyler?...you don't look so great.."
Me-"um ya I'm fine..why?"
Colby-"oh I was jus—"
Sam-"COLBY!! Did you take the last tampon?!..I needed it for my bloody nose"
Colby-"um no.."

Colby looks over at my with a weird face

Colby-"Skyler..?"
Me-"what?"
Colby-"did you take the tampon?"
Me-"u-umm n-no w-why would I t-take it?"
Colby-"because it's probably that time of the month again"
Me-"COLBY BROCK!"
Colby-"what? Just say'n "
Me-"haha fine you caught me!"
Colby-"EW! TMI"
Me-"what?, you wanted to know who took the tampon"

I sat there in embarrassment with my cheeks all red..while he sits there laughing at me and I realized I have to wash his sheets

Sam-"oh my god Colby! Did someone get killed in here..there's some blood on your bed sheets"

Oh.my.god....NOOOOOOO I'm so freaking embarrassed...let's just say i was never alive

Me-"excuse me while I go kill my self with a butchers knife :)"
Colby-"no don't go"
Me-"I'm legit embarrassed out of my mind!"
Colby-"I'll take you to the drug store"
Me-"really?"
Colby-"ya.."
Me-"thank you?"
Colby-"your welcome?"

I could finally walk so Colby didn't have to carry me all the way to the car...even though the doctor said not to walk...but I still did anyway...I got in the passenger seat while Colby was driving to the drugstore down the road...I got out of the car and so did he

Colby-"I'll be getting you some pain medication while you get your stuff, ok?"
Me-"ok"

I smiled and went to find some tampons and period stuff until a saw a familiar face...it was a face I did not want to see...it was Danny...what was he doing here?!...oh right...he needs to get some condoms for him and "mom"...I put my hood up so he wouldn't recognize me

Danny-"excuse me ma'am?...what condoms would you prefer?"

I stayed quiet..and was hoping that he wouldn't see me or recognize me...

Danny-"hey I asked you a quest....Skyler?"

Oh shit, I need to run...I was about to run until he wrapped his hands around both of my wrists..he stroked my cheek...I was about to scream but he covered my mouth...he put one of his hands on my waist and one on my mouth

Danny-"shhhh baby it's ok...daddy's here"

He completely disgusted me...I hated him...even though hate is a
strong word...I actually mean it

He finally let his hand down so I could talk

Me-"Danny, you're a disgusting pig..who always wants sex from teens..because you're a horny old disgusting man"

He raises his hand a slaps me across the face...tears start building up in my eyes and my cheek is red and stinging..I started to cry...and he put his hand over my mouth..

Colby's P.O.V
I wonder what's taking her so long...I'll go see what she's up to..
I walk into the part of the store we're Skys at and I see a man covering Skyler's mouth...and she's crying...

Me-"hey! Let go of her!"
Danny-"yo back off!..she's my girlfriend!"

Skyler looks over at me and shakes her head saying no...and I nod my head...I walk over to the guy and punch him in the gut, and he falls to the ground and I grab Skyler's hand and I payed for the stuff and ran out of the store...she was still crying

Me-"oh my god Sky!...who was that?!"
Skyler-"that was my stepdad.."

She continued to cry and I hugged her to make her feel better and she hugged back

Me-"Sky don't worry...I'll always protect you no matter what happens"

               *Back at the apartment*
I carried Skyler over to the LoveSac and she was cuddled against me and I hugged her tight...I never want to let her go...I reached over and grabbed the remote for the television and put on some cartoons...oh ya! Adventure Time!...and she watched some of the cartoons with me while I was cuddling her to death...
We weren't even cuddling for that long...but she fell asleep in my arms...that's how I've always dreamed it...I just feel like falling asleep right now...I just feel like closing my eyes and resting for awhile...I was thinking about Skyler all night last night...I couldn't even sleep..I know I don't fall in love with girls but...I think I'm falling in love with Skyler...even though we haven't even been friends for that long...I'm falling for Skyler.
