Chapter 9

Normal P.O.V

With Amy and Tails

The two swam towards the palace as quickly as they could. They swam and swam till they saw their destonation, the palace gates.

"Ok. Let's run this over again." Tails motioned Amy to a near by rock. He uses his finger to draw in the sand.

"So we're here," he draws a circle then a big box,

"And the palace is here."

"The guards are here. But... how do we pass by them to get inside?" Tails questioned but as he looks up he sees Amy aproching the guards.

"What the fuck are you doing Amy?!" He whispered to himself. Amy reaches the guards,

"Halt! What is a weakling doing up here at the palace?!" Yells one of them.

"Nothing really... just curious to see if you were prepared FOR THIS!!!!" She yelled as she brought out he hammer and swung full force at the guards head. Thus knocking them out. She then looked over to Tails and motioned him over.

"Come on before they wake up." She said as she swam foward.

"Note to self..... never piss Amy off." He said as they continued on.

With Rouge and Knuckles

"Can I bash a wall in now? It would be easier that way."

"Knucky, no. It would cause the security to come after us. Besides, when we find Scrouge then you can break his neck." Rouge explained to Knuckles. He nodded as the swam around the boarder of the palace. They found a vacant room window. They swam through the window and saw it was an all blue and gold bedroom.

"Wow... nice place." Knuckles said swimming around the room. Rouge made it to the bed and sat down.

"Tell me about it." She says. Knuckles moves towards the shelves and finds a photo of Sonic and his brother and sister. Rouge swam up to see what Knuckles was looking at. Unbeknownst to them, the door to the hall opened.

"So this is Sonics room?" She asked.

"Seems like it." As soon as he put the picture down they both were struck in the head and knocked unconscious.

With Shadow and Sonic

The couple swam into a window that lead into the hall then hid behind a pillar when they saw a guard come around the corner.

"Shit! That was close." Sonic said as Shadow was in front of him with his back turned.

"Your telling me." He said as he turned his head to look at Sonic. Shadow then looked around the corner and noticed the guard was gone.

"Clear."

"Good. Now come on so we can find my family."

Sonic P.O.V

I swam down the hallways. I somehow still have the place memorized after so long.

"This place is huge. How do you know where you're going?" Shadow asked me as we swam.

"Cause I grew up here. Why else?" I question him. He nods his head in agreement and we continue. I find the dongoun and head through. Only to be stopped by non other than Scrouge.

"Oh, so you've finally come back to me my love."

"Scrouge.." I say with anger in my voice and fist clenched.

"Now come wi.." He couldn't even finish his sentence because Shadow pulled me behind him and punched Scrouge in the face. He stumbled back but regains his composer,
