Chapter 15

Sonics P.O.V Still

"Shadow hurry!" I scream in desperation he continues to bang on the glass. Then then glass suddenly cracks. But the water is still rising. Shadow goes to hit the glass again, but is shot by a bright beam into the wall across the room.

"Shadow!" I yell. I look over and notice that the water is right at my shoes.

"Shit..." is all I say. Then the familiar light blue light engulfs me.

"What in the blazes is that?!" Eggman yells shielding his eyes from the light. Everyone looks over to me. The light dissipates and I fall on my ass.

"Oof! Aw come'on!!!" I yell as I slam my fists onto the waters serface which is just a sad looking puddle. Which is rising quickly. At this point I don't care.

"Uhhh. Can someone explain what just happened?" Egghead asks as all the fighting stopped to look at me. At this point, the water is at my waist. Well, I am sitting down now.

"What does it look like Egghead?!" I yell through the glass.

"But I... You.... what?!" He is a fucking idiot! I swear to what ever fucked up God he believes in.....

"Look Dr. we don't have time for this." Shadow said as he lifted up his hand and punched the glass again shattering it in the process. As the water rushed out, he stepped back a few steps so he wouldn't get wet and reveal his tail too. We never got the chance to tell the others about the transformation and wanted to wait a little bit before saying anything. Water splashed up a little which made Shadow jump,

"Look at this, the ultimate life form is scared of water!" Eggface yelled laughing. Oh boy... he has no idea what he has gotten himself into.

Shadow P.O.V

"What did you say?" I ask, feeling rage build up inside me.

"You're afraid of water!" He points at me laughing more. I clench my fists. A robot then attacks the group and the battle resumes. There's a flash of light behind me, which I know is Sonic changing back. He puts a hand on my shoulder. I look over at him,

"Shadow..."

"I know, don't do it" I sigh. He then gives me a confused look.

"What? No, I was going to say this is the perfect time to test out your new powers." He has a sly grin. Wait.. what new powers?

"What new powers?" I ask. Right before he could answer, Amy came up.

"I can't believe I forgot about the merhog thing! Or should I say rat?" She says evilly. My blood boils,

"Amy, you don't know..."

"I know exactly what I'm doing!" She cuts Sonic off. What was that phrase that Sonic would say for that water thing? Amy takes a swing at us, I grab Sonic and we dodge the attack. What was it? Alean blast? No thats not it. Amy swings again, but Sonic and I dodge again. Abean blast? No!

"Damnit what was it?!" I curse myself.

"Shadow, whatever youre planning, make it quick!" Sonic yells. Ah-ha! I got it. As Amy gets ready to swing her hammer again, I raise both of my hands, they start glowing a bright red, like when I change form, then yell,

"Akean Blast (Ocean Blast)!" The water from the tank Sonic was in raises up and blasts everyone against the far wall, all except for our friends.

"When you...?" Rouge starts.

"I'll explain later. Let's get them tied up." I tell them coldly as I approach the Dr.

"Nuh uh. You're going to explain now Mr!" Rouge comes up to me and puts a figure on my chest with an angry look on her face. I push her hand away and walk past her. She scoffs and flies back in front of me.

"What do you want bat?"

"You are going to tell...." I cut her off by putting my hand up.

"No I am not. Not now. I'll explain lat...."

"Dont you dare put your hand in my face! You're going to explain now! Wether you like it or not hedgehog!" She yells in my face.

"Don't get in my face bat!"

"I'll get in you're face all I want to!"

"You..."

"GUYS!!!!" Sonic yells in distress. We all look over in concern and see Sonic clutching his stomach with a pained expression on his face.

"Now?!" I yell in..... I don't even KNOW! I feel so many emotions at once! I run up to him and he grabs my hand while I wrap the other around him as he hunches over in pain.

"Ugh, why now?!" He yells out in pain.

"Guys we gotta go!" I yell. Everyone nods their heads.

"I'll let G.U.N know about these two." Rouge says, pulling out her phone and dialing the number. I nod my head.

"Shadow, we have t..." his sentence is cut short as we hear a splat on the ground. We both quickly look down and see Sonics water broke.

"Damnit!" We both yell as we both change into our merhog forms. I land on the ground first, making sure Sonic doesn't hit the ground hard. I sigh.

"That's why you wanted to explain later." Rouge says. I give her a "no shit" face.

"S-shadz. U-use your powers t-t-to dry yours-self off." Sonic studders in pain. I nod my head and use my new found abilities to evaporate the water off my tail to dry off and change back.

"Shadow too!" The Dr. yells in surprise. I ignore him and pick up Sonic, holding him close to me. Trying to comfort him.

"Tails come on!" I yell for Tails. The fox looks at me confused.

"Why me?!"

"Because Sonic wanted you here for this! Now lets go!" I tell him. He smiles then nods and we take off towards the moon pool where the birth is supposed to take place.
