Chapter 4

Shadow P.O.V

In the morning, I woke up with Sonic's head on my white chest fluff. He looked so peaceful so I didn't protest. I smiled at his sleeping form and gave him a soft kiss on the forehead. Slowly he opened his eyes.

"Morning my love. How'd you sleep?"

"Morning Shads. I slept well." He says.

'Shads? I think I like it.' I think about the nickname I've just been given. We lay there for a few more minutes, enjoying the closeness of each other until,

"Hey guys breakfast is ready!" Amy shouted from outside the door. I groan in frustration.

"We'll be out in a minute." Sonic shouts a reply, seeming to be just as annoyed as I was. She said ok and we start to get up. We put on our socks and shoes and gloves. When sonic bent down to get his shoes, I just so happened to looked over at his ass and I blushed. Sonic turned his head and noticed me staring.

"Like what you see?" He asked as he lifted his tail up and stuck his butt out more. The next thing I know, I have a nosebleed and I place my hand over my nose and run to the bathroom. While I heard sonic giggle in victory.

'Damn Sonic and his hot ass. Even though I would like to😳😳😳😳😳.... NO!!! No dirty thoughts!!! Not aloud!!!' I then mentally slapped myself. My nose stopped bleeding and I walked out and put on a new pair of gloves. Sonic came up next to me and hugged me from behind,

"Guess you REALLY liked what you saw, huh?" He snickered a little.

"Oh yes. And I just realized what I want to eat for breakfast too." I said seductively. I turn to face Sonic as a mischievous smile crept onto my muzzle. His eyes went wide and he ran. I promptly followed,

"Come on Sonic! Give me a piece of that ass!" I yelled/laughed while chasing him.

"If you want it that bad, you have to catch me first!" He yelled/laughed back.

Sonic P.O.V

After our little game of "tag", we both go down stairs, but before we go into the kitchen,

"Shadow?" I ask as I turn to face him

"Yes my love?" He replies as he wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close. I place my hands on his chest fluff, I love how warm and soft it is..... focus Sonic!!

"Can we not tell the others about us yet? I don't think they need to know quite yet. Also about the merhog thing too. Is that ok with you Shadzy?" I ask. Hoping that he'll keep this between us.

"If that's what you wish my beaitiful sea fea. It's fine with me." He smiles as he slowly lets go of me and we walk into the kitchen. I sat at the table and grabbed some food while Shadow stood in the corner with his arms crossed,

"Aren't you going to grab something to eat Shadow?" Tails piped in after taking a bit of food.

"I'm not hungry." Was all he said then looked at me with a small smile on his muzzle. I noticed this and started to blush but shook it away before anyone could notice.

"So what's the plan for today?" Tails asked the group.

"Well Amy and I saw a few stores near the beach so we're going shopping." Rouge said while Amy nodded.

"Faker and I are going to race around for a bit." Shadow said coldly while not even looking up. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"I guess I'll work on the Tornado some (if anyone don't know, the Tornado is Tails' s plane. Which is what they came in). Then we all can meet by the beach." Tails said which all of us agreed. After breakfast, we all headed out towards the beach and was about to go our separate ways when I heard a familiar voice,

"So this was where you've been hiding?" I froze when I heard that voice. The gang noticed and turned around towards the water which the voice came from.

"Who the fuck are you?!" Knuckles yelled after seeing me frozen in place. I noticed the worried looks they were giving me and then snapped myself out of my trance.

"You mean he hasn't told you? Sonic how could you not tell them?"

"Scrouge, leave them out of this!" I yell, moving in front of my friends in case I have to protect them.

"Sonic, how does he know your name? Who even is he?" Amy asked. I ignored her.

"Come on Sonic, you have to tell them at some point."

"Tell us what?" Shadow asked. Scrouge swam closer and then pulled himself onto a rock making sure that his ghostly, midnight black tail was partially in the water.

"What are you?!" Knuckles yelled in confusion.

"Sonic will answer these questions for you." He smirked evilly. Everyone glanced at me with a questioning a glance.

"Leave NOW!!!" I yelled at him. Scrouge laughed.

"Not until I get what I came here for!" He then called for one of his minions, which this one was a giant black octopus. It reached its giant tentacles and grabbed me, slowly dragging me to the water.

"Sonic!!!" Everyone yelled. Shadow was the first to grab my hands. Then everyone else came and grabbed me too. They tried as hard as they could. Until Shadow lost his grip on me. I was then mere inches from the water,

'I have no choice...' I then jumped up into the air

"Vi der prints fun dem im, ikh zogn frirn! ( As the prince of the sea, I say freeze!)" I yelled as I held out both of my hands instantly freezing the octopus. Thus turning it into a popsicle.

"What?!" The gang yells, well except for Shadow, in shock. I break free and slide down and back to the sand.

"What now bitch?" I yelled at him with a smirk.

"I do admit, I underestimated you. But you're forgetting something."

"And that is?" I asked worriedly. But then it hit me,

"Aoy neyn (Oh no)! Everyone hit the deck!!" I yell. Everyone ducked down onto the sand just as Scrouge threw a sphere of dark magic towards us. Thank God he missed!

"YOU FUCKED WITH THE WRONG ONE!" I yell, I look towards everyone,

"Back up!" I yell, then I start the spell.

"Vaser iber dem im, vi prints fun ir, varfn im in deyn dipast tifenishn (Water through out the sea, as Prince of you, throw him into your deepest depths)!" I put all I had into the spell. Scrouge looked scared and then was lifted up and thrown far out to sea by the sea water itself. I put my hands down and fall to me knees out of breath.

"Sonic!!" Shadow yelled and ran up to me before my head could hit the ground. He cradles my head as the others run up as well. The last thing I know, all I could see was darkness.
