The Merhog Prince

Chapter 6

Sonic P.O.V

It was the next morning and I left the hotel room early so I would have time to swim around a little before hand. As well as looking for somethings that are important for what I have planned... well if the gang says yes anyhow. Hopefully they will. I swim around near the sea floor looking for clams and oysters.

"I've been down here for a good minute and still no fucking pearls!!! Damn!" I say to myself as I continue to look around. I then finally I find a huge patch of them.

"Oh thank you Dad!" I say to myself once again in relief. I start to look throughout the patch and find the five pearls that I need. I smile to myself and make my way to the surface to see the gang walking on the beach, on there way to the moon pool. I get closer to the beach and Amy notices me first.

"Hey Sonic!" She yells as she comes into the shallow waters with everyone behind her. I smile and wave as they approach. I pull myself onto a nearby rock and sit there with only my tail fin in the water.

"Woah.." was all Knuckles could say when he saw my tail in the light of day.

"What?" I question his staring.

"I just haven't seen your tail this clearly."

"Well here." I say as I turn my body to face them and adjust my tail so everyone could see. The look of aww in their faces made me smile.

"Can I touch it?" Rouge asked me. I nod my head as she reaches for my tail. She rubs it tenderly and she looks into the water to see my fin. She reaches down and lifts it out of the water just enough to get a better look.

"It's gorgeous. Makes me wish that I was five again so I could pretend to have one. Haha!" She says in a excited tone.

"What if I said that there is a way?" I said with my signature cheeky grin.

"Wait... You can do that?!" Tails questioned in shock. I nod my head in excitement. Everyone's face turns to shock.

"But, I have things to tell you guys first. Explain everything like I promised. Then we'll get back to that." They all agreed.

"Might as well start since we're all here." Shadow said. I nodded,

"As you guys already found out. I'm a merhog and I'm sorry I kept it from all of you. I was just scared about the consequences that I didn't see all the love and friendship you have given me over the years." When I said love I looked at Shadow who gave me a small smile with lust in his eyes.

"I also have the power over any form of water. Which you also have noticed. Hehe." I say rubbing the back of my head.

"What all can you do? I mean, we know that you can freeze it and I saw you move it and all but..." Shadow questioned while he fiddled with his inhibitor rings on his wrists. Never knew that was a habbit of his. I then held up my hand and a glob of water floated up and over to the group.

"So cool." Tails said. I then had an idea.

"Hey Tails,"

"What?" He asked not paying attention to where the water was going.

"Catch!" He looks up to see the glob of water above his head come splashing down on top of him.

"Hey!!!! Not cool." Tails yelped. We all laughed as we saw his fur dripping wet.

"Here hehe let me help hehe." I say in between chuckles and giggles. I reach out my hand and the water evaporated off his fur and he was completely dry.

"I change my mind, that is cool." He says. This just makes me giggle harder.

"Not only can I do that, but I can show projections of the kingdom I come from. Which I like to check on every now and then."
