Chapter 12

Four and a half months later
Sonics P.O.V

Time has gone by so quickly! Not long after Shadow and I announced that we were expecting, we moved back closer to the beach. The house Shadow found was beautiful and right on the waters edge. It was a lovely blue, two story home. Downstairs, as soon as you walk through the door, was the living room. There was a half bathroom right by the stairs. Then off to the side was the kitchen with an at h doorway and an island in the center. Along with beautiful marble counters. Then upstairs there were the bed rooms. There was a master bedroom with its own bathroom, and three guest bedrooms. One of which we are planing to make it a nursery. In the hallway was a full bathroom just like in the master bedroom. There's a balcony in the master bedroom over looking the ocean, which is the best part. Which is where I'm at now, sitting in a chair near the sliding door with our little round table is at. Just enjoying the view and feeling the baby move around inside my fairly large belly. I may be only about four or five months now, but once again, merhog pregnancys go a lot quicker.

"How are you two doing?" Shadow asks me as he walks outside. I place my hand on my stomach, look up at him and smile,

"We're doing good." I say. He walks over and places a hand on the huge baby bump and smiles,

"I can't wait to meet you little one." He then kissed my stomach which makes me giggle.

"You ready to go?" I ask.

"As ready as I'll ever be." He tells me. Today is a big day! First we are going to the moon pool for Shadows transformation/coronation to be my king to my kingdom, same for me to be queen.... or other king..... whichever. Then after that we are going to get to see a picture of the baby! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.

"Alright then," I say. Shadow helps me up,

"Let's go." I kiss him and then we make our way to the moon pool. I chose to swim since it would be easier on me but Shadow, since he's the one being turned, has to go through the land entrance.

Shadows P.O.V

I'm skating through the dense forest that leads to the moon pool. I can't believe all of this is happening so fast. One minute I'm falling to my death from the Arc explosion, then the next I'm engaged, expecting a child and being turned into something of mythology.... who would be guessed that. To be honest I'm quite nervous. And no one.... and I mean no one,
*looks at author* will here that from me....

*breaks forth wall*

Shadow: Or you.

Me: What the hell shadow! Why you break my wall!! It's there for a reason!

Shadow: Should be seen it coming sooner or later.

Me: True, very true. But you realize that since I'm the author I have the power

Shadow: *Scared look* I'm gonna go back to the story....😨😨

Me: You better

*Shadow goes back through wall*

I continue on till I see the entrance. Well here goes nothing. I climb into the cave until I see my love and his family.

"Shadow the Hedgehog come forth." Says King Jules. I obey his command and step forth.

"Do you promise to keep my son and the kingdom of Aqutis safe for the rest of your exsistance?" I nod my head. He then motions me to come into the moon pool with the rest which I agree to. I sit on the shelf on the side next to Sonic. He smiles at me and I smile back before Jules gets our attention.
