Ellie's POV:
He liked my babbling? Blushing even more, I took another sip of my wine and cleared my throat. As dinner continued, I could tell the waitress was getting pissed the closer Harry and I got. Good, teach her to fucking mind her own God damn business. That was most definitely the wine.
"Any dessert this evening?" she smiled widely at Harry.
"I've heard that the Choco Loco is very good. Wanna split a piece, babe?" Harry beamed at me.
"Absolutely," I nodded.
"I'll put that in," Ashley or whatever the fuck her name was said sourly and walked off.
"She's pissed," I laughed, leaning on Harry for support.
"Means we're doing something right," he replied, smiling deeply, his dimples showing.
"You're drunk," I giggled.
"You are too!" We both began to laugh again and I took a deep breath, finishing the wine left in my glass.
"Only one bottle? We're pretty lousy," Harry laughed.
"I don't drink much."
"I don't either."
"Psh. Why do I think you're lying?"
"I don't lie, darling. I simply stretch the truth." Laughing even more I gasped when I saw the chocolate cake coming toward our table. It looked like it had endless layers.
"Here y'all are. Enjoy." Picking up a fork and cutting a bite off, I moaned as I chewed.
"Oh God," I sighed. "This is so good." Taking another bite, I began to laugh.
"Do I have anything in my teeth?" Harry asked, smearing cake all over his front teeth.
"Ew!" I squealed, hitting his chest. Which was amazing, by the way. Finishing the cake and laughing as we argued over who was going to tip, Harry won and we made our way out of the restaurant.
"I can't drive," I sighed as we got in the car.
"Why don't we just sit here for a while? It's only 10 o'clock and you don't have to be home until 12:45. That'll give me time to sober up a bit."
"Okay," I shrugged. Sitting there talking, laughing, and just goofing off, time passed quickly. My eye lids began to feel heavy as we drove down the long highway and soon closed all the way.

"Thanks for getting her home okay, Harry. I appreciate it..."
"No problem sir. I'm sorry to have given her wine..."
"It's okay. That's usually how she gets to sleep sometimes..." Feeling jostling, I realized I was being carried upstairs. Harry's chest was warm and smelt divine.
"You smell good," I gushed, burying my nose into his chest. I heard a deep chuckle and felt a gush of wind as my bedroom door opened.
"Here we go," he whispered, laying me down on my comforter. Taking off my shoes and turning all the lights out, I swallowed lightly as he began to walk out.
"Harry?"
"Yeah?"
"Please stay." There was silence between us and I soon felt his weight on the other side of my bed.
"Goodnight, Ellie."
"Goodnight, Harry."
