HARRY'S POV:

She was absolutely stunning and she had no earthly realization. Watching her come undone and just feeling her around my fingers intoxicated me. She was like a drug I never wanted to stop using. As we drove back to her house, our fingers were tightly laced together and her cheeks were still flushed from out intimate moment.

"Wish me luck," she groaned as we pulled into her driveway. I squeezed her hand before bringing it to my lips and placing a small kiss on the back of it.

"If you need me, I'm a phone call away." She leaned toward me, kissing my lips softly before opening her door to get out.

"I will," she smiled and I pulled her back toward me one more time for a passionate goodbye kiss.

"Bye, beautiful," I grinned as she got out.

"Bye," she beamed and closed the door behind her. Rolling down the window, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Nice bum!" I yelled teasingly. Ellie turned around with a giggle and waved before heading inside. Learning from last time, I turned off my car and just sat there. If she truly needed me, I didn't want to get to her too late if anything did arise. Tapping on the steering wheel, I smiled stupidly, reflecting on the few hours we had spent together.

ELLIE'S POV:

Walking inside, my smile soon faded as I heard my Dad's familiar voice from the living room.

"Ellison." Why did he keep using my full name? Trying to make it up the stairs, one creaked and I knew I was busted.

"Ellison Grace, get in here." Biting the inside of my cheek, I walked into the living room and he was walking toward the kitchen.

"Where were you. School ended at 3:30 and it's almost seven now."

"I had to stay behind for basketball."

"You don't look sweaty at all."

"It was a meeting."

"Cut the shit," he snapped. "You know you're grounded until your birthday. Where the hell were you?" Now he wanted to yell at me, great.

"I was with Harry!" I screamed back at him. "Okay? I was with the one person who actually gives a shit about me."

"You are a naive girl if you think that boy really cares about anything other than getting in your pants!"

"You know what?! He's already gotten in my pants and he was fucking fantastic!" It was only partially true, but still.

"It was today wasn't it?!"

"Yep. We were hot and sweaty and he got rough with me!" I screamed. "He was rough and I loved it because I'm a skank like Serena."

"Enough!" he boomed and I felt his palm slam against my cheek. I fell against the counter and immediately, tears formed in my eyes.

"El-" he started, taking a step toward me.

"Do not touch me," I said in a low voice and practically ran upstairs to my room. Packing some clothes into a duffle bag along with my toiletries, I tried to be as quiet as I could calling Harry.

"Hello?" he immediately answered.

"Can you come get me?" I sniffed.

"Are you okay? What happened, babe?" his voice was full of concern.

"Just come get me. I need somewhere to stay for tonight."

"I'm still in the driveway. Just come out," he replied and I sighed in relief. Getting my bags together, I walked back down the stairs and toward the front door.

"Ellie? Where are you going?" I could hear his footsteps following me out the door and I was thankful to see Harry getting out of his car to help me.

"Are you okay, baby?" Harry murmured, holding my now brushing cheek.

"I'm fine, we just need to go." I sat my stuff in the back seat and took a deep breath.

"Ellie, you can't just leave with him. You know I didn't mean to," my dad pleaded.

"You hit her?" Harry asked, his body going as stiff as a statue and I could see his knuckles turning white.

"Stay out of this."

"I'm not going to stay out of it. You hit her," Harry replied calmly, pushing me behind him. So calm, I was honestly kind of scared.

"Stay out of his, Harry. This is none of your concern," Dad said, putting his hand on Harry's shoulder.

"It is my concern when it comes to my girlfriend," Harry's voice was villainously low and calm."She's coming with me."

"Ellie, get in the car," Harry sighed, his tone a little bit softer. He kissed my forehead and I walked to get in the passenger seat, hoping they wouldn't start a fight.

HARRY'S POV:

My blood was boiling as I stood there with him.

"That's my daughter," he snapped.

"Yeah, the one that you just hit. I'm going to get in my car now and drive away," I replied and turned to open my door. Getting in my seat, closing and locking all the doors behind me, I started the car. Pulling out of the driveway, Ellie sat still as a statue. The entire ride was silent as I silently seethed in my seat. How the fuck could he ever hit her? Had he done it before? I bit the inside of my cheek, tasting blood as I tried not to let my anger get the best of me. Pulling into my driveway, I turned the car off and noticed my mum's car next to mine. Turning off the engine, I got out and walked toward Ellie's side, opening the door and lifting her out.

"I've got you," I whispered as she locked her arms around my neck and buried her face into my chest. Carrying her inside, I heard my mum in the kitchen.

"Harry? Is that you, love?"

"Yeah mum!" I called back.

"Dinner will be ready in fifteen minutes."

"Okay." Walking up the stairs, Ellie sniffled a few times before I softly laid her down on my bed.

"I'll be right back, darling," I whispered, kissing her forehead. Walking back downstairs, I made my way into the kitchen and my mum was standing at the stove.

"Hello, handsome," she smiled widely. "Did you come in with someone? I heard sniffling."

"It was Ellie," I sighed.

"Oh, is she staying for dinner? I can't wait to meet her!"

"Not exactly. She got into an argument with her dad."

"And?"

"He hit her."

"Oh my," she gasped. "She can stay here as long as she needs. Should I go talk to her? You remember how your father was."

"No," I dismissed. "She's in my room. I think we'll probably just eat up there and hang out since we have a four day weekend."

"Okay. Well, take some cookies and any snacks she might want. They help," she smiled sympathetically and I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.

"Thanks mum," I smiled as she kissed my cheek. Getting Ellie's stuff from the car and carrying it up the stairs, she was sound asleep, her head buried in my pillows and I saw that she had out on one of my hoodies. Watching her sleep, she took slow, deep breaths and when I laid next to her, she latched onto me. She had wrapped the sleeves of my hoodie over her hands and pulled the hoodie over her head and I couldn't help but smile at how adorable she was. Despite the circumstances and the now large bruise on her cheek, she still managed to look absolutely lovely. Setting the bottle of water on the nightstand, I took a deep breath and pulled her closer to me.
