"You don't need a degree to be a doctor, Ellie. I'm taking care of you now," he smiled. Rolling my eyes as he kissed me one more time before walking in his bathroom, I wanted nothing more than to just lay down and sleep.
"C'mere, love," he called from the bathroom and I slowly stood.
"Harry, you really don't have to do this," I smiled and sighed as he slowly pulled his hoodie over my head.
"I'm gonna make you feel better," he murmured, kissing my neck as his hands ran up my sides and pulled his t-shirt over my head as well. Staring down at my bruises, I pulled his eyes away from my torso that was atrociously hideous. My hand rested on his cheek as his gently took hold of my hips just above my hips and slowly slid his sweatpants and my underwear off my legs. Moving my hands to cover myself, Harry placed his over mine.
"Don't hide from me baby," he whispered, kissing me softly, intertwining our fingers and leaning his forehead against mine. Walking toward the large, claw foot bathtub, he helped me slowly sit in the hot water and again, I was surrounded by his scent. Leaning back against the porcelain, I closed my eyes and sank underneath the water, for one split second, my body didn't hurt. Slowly coming back up for air, I felt Harry's hands grip my shoulder and begin to knead.
"That feels amazing," I sighed, leaning my head back and closing my eyes again. Sighing contently, his hands moved to my neck and temples and I hadn't felt this relaxed since I could remember.
"I love you," he cooed, kissing my temple softly as his hands made their way back to my shoulders.
"I love you too," I smiled widely, opening my eyes and looking up at him. Pulling his chin down toward me, I giggled before kissing him softly.
"That was cool, spider woman," he teased.
"What can I say?" I shrugged. "Movies teach you things." Our quiet laughter filled his bathroom and there was a knock on the door.
"Harry?" Anne's voice echoed.v
"Fuck," I whispered, sitting up slightly and looking back at Harry.
"Yeah, mum?" he replied cautiously.
"How's Ellie? She doing okay?" she asked a little quieter.
"Um, yeah. She's sleeping."
"What are you doing?"
"Having a wee, mum! Go away!"
"Alright, alright, let me know when you want dinner." Rolling his eyes, I let out a sigh of relief as we heard her footsteps walk back down the hall.
"As much as I love sitting here, I'd rather be cuddling and kissing," I laughed, trying to stand up.
"Alright, alright," he chuckled, helping me carefully stand and handing me a towel as the tub drained. Changing into warm clothes and slowly climbing into Harry's large bed, I curled up on his side and tried to get warm once again.
"Hey Har?" I mumbled sleepily.
"Yes love?" he replied, kissing my hair.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"Everything that you do for me."
"Why are you thanking me?" he chuckled.
"Because you're like a warm cinnamon roll and hot chocolate after playing in the snow. You're comforting and always there for me," I laughed, feeling sleep slowly taking over.
"It's my job and I wouldn't have it any other way."
It's going to pick up soon!!!
