- as soon as hayley updates you on the news, you try to get to the hospital as soon as you can.
- to support her & be by her side.
- you decide to surprise her with flowers & a 'get well soon' teddy bear.
- sweet gestures like these always manage to bring a bright smile to her face, even when she felt like it was impossible.
- this causes your heart to melt every single time.
- she takes the teddy bear into her arms, holding it close to her chest.
- you place a small kiss to her temple, as you brush loose hairs from her face.
- you try to keep the spirits high.
- whispering positive affirmations into hayley's ear, while awaiting news from the doctor.
- you also give your best attempt at making her laugh a little too.
- which is soon rewarded with a 'playful' slap to your arm, by a giggling hayley.
- 'Hey! I'm not supposed to be laughing, OR talking whatsoever!' she whisper-yells, rolling her eyes at you.
- 'It's not my fault you can't stay quiet around me!' you retort, your laughter bubbling over as hayley shook her head lovingly.
- you stayed by her bedside for the rest of the evening.
- playing with her hands sweetly, & keeping her company until she was finally able to be discharged.
