- 'Y/N?' Your girlfriend whispered with a playful tone, her warm breath brushing against your parted lips.
- your faces only inches apart.
- her loving voice slowly circulating your semi-sleeping state.
- you groaned deeply, attempting to snuggle back into the pillow.
- tugging the duvet up, tucking it under your chin contently.
- you heard hayley chuckle at this action, as she knew fine well that you were awake.
- but you kept your eyes tightly shut, just to tease her.
- 'You ain't foolin' me, silly.' Hayley mocked, squishing your cheeks between her fingers.
- as she giggled, pulling you in for a midnight smooch.
- you couldn't help but bare a smile.
- squinting slightly, as you attempted to open your tried eyes.
- 'What's the matter?' You questioned huskily, rubbing your eyes sleepily.
- eagerly stretching out your heavy limbs.
- 'I can't sleep.' Hayley replied, resting her forehead against yours subconsciously.
- you smile sympathetically at her pouting expression.
- 'You'll get over eventually, baby.' You said simply, pressing your lips to her hairline for a few seconds.
- before turning over to face the opposite way.
- your body desperate for a bit of shut-eye.
- you heard hayley scoff.
- her arm soon around your waist, body pressed up against your back & chin resting on your shoulder.
- 'Impossible.' She stated, rather dramatically.
- her mischievous fingers beginning to poke playfully at your ribcage.
- that was when you had to give in.
- 'Fineee!' You whined, admitting defeat. 'What do you wanna do?'
- you listened to hayley hum in thought, as you turned over, looking into her eyes once again.
- 'The sky looks SO beautiful tonight...' She said, admiring the night sky out of your nearby bedroom window.
- 'Let's go stargaze?!' She suggested excitedly, springing up in bed at the spontaneous idea.
- 'But, Hayles our bed is so warm & cosy!' You attempted to argue, but her puppy dog eyes were just far too good to compete.
- 'Yes, I knew you couldn't resist these bad boys!' Hayley laughed, fluttering her eyelashes at you cheekily.
- she slipped out of bed, throwing one of your own hoodies over her head & rolling up the sleeves quickly, so they didn't completely drown her small arms.
- as she reached up for a fluffy blanket, on the top shelf of your joint closet.
- you grabbed the nearest pair of sweatpants & one of your thick sweaters.
- before walking over to hayley, taking her hand as she held the door open for you both.
- 'I'm placing a bet that you'll fall asleep as soon as we get out here.' You stated smugly, ruffling hayley's already messy hair.
- 'We'll see about that.' She smirked, leading you out the back door and into the cool night time air.
- where the two of you watched the stars, shared deep conversations, laughed, cuddled & shared cherished kisses.
- before, just like you'd predicted hayley fell fast into slumber.
