Here is what Lukey And Ashton look like throughout the book (of they are so adorable 😍)

Sexuality... Its helps people identify who they are, what their preference is but not who they fall in love with. Whether they fall in love with a man or a woman; it should not be a reason for people to tell them who they are. It does not resemble a person, generally.

Obviously religion may judge this topic but who is to say that God does not love and accept you for simply falling in love? Nobody should speak for God, he speaks for himself, so why rely on others judgement?

For Ashton Irwin this was not something he ever thinks about. All he ever thinks about is that God will punish those who sin and do not go by his laws as that is how he grew up. When he was 13 years old, Ashton's father had left for work and never returned home, leaving his mother with a 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son to raise. She tried, she really did but gave in and called Ashton's God father who let them stay in his household.

His name is Charles Butler, a well known pastor in the small Australian town that was blocked off from the city. Once he let the Irwin family into his own household, he helped Ashton learn the ways of God. Ashton had never rejected the thought of God but he hadn't ever embraced it either but soon enough his faith had gained and he started preaching at the church while Harry, his 2 year old brother, and Lauren, his 5 year old sister would look up to him.

Now, 6 years had passed, Ashton was now 19 and a leader of a Summer camp that would help teenagers find trust in the Lord and to rid themselves of the sins caused. This also included helping homosexuals cure their demons and delinquents learn to behave. The camp was only there for teenagers that the church would pick out with no form of payment. It was all a smooth process and each year (only 3 years so far) it ran smoothly, with a service of prayer and worship every second night and activities as well as therapy groups every other day. And it truly is fun on rainy days! Playing out in the puddles and the mud/trust coarse they went through.

But enough of that, Ashton was in his room at that exact moment, packing his suitcase for the week to come for the Summer camp. He was always excited to go, meeting with new people and definitely the ministry services.

Yes, maybe it was kind of stupid that he was up at 6 O'clock in the morning packing his suitcase for a week but, he just really could not help it.

"Ashton! Did you use all the hot water already?" Lauren, Ashton's now 11 year old sister shouted while walking into the curly haired boys room.

He only laughed and turned to his sister, "I showered an hour ago already. Why aren't you ready for church yet?"

The girl groaned and rolled her eyes, walking out the room to find her Sunday best and take a warmish shower.

Lauren was a bit overly dramatic for her age, somehow not enjoying the fact that she had to pray everyday and night and then still go to church for over 3 hours on a Sunday. Ashton just couldn't understand why she didn't like it. Surely she had to feel some sort of excitement.

With a sigh, Ashton adjusted his tie and combed his longish golden hair back to make it look neat. He was not yet done packing, still having a lot more to do and decided he could do it all when he came back home. With a sigh, the 19 year old left his small room and skipped down the stairs to the family table, meeting 8 year old Harry there.

"Hey, there buddy. What you got there?"

There was clinging from the kitchen and Harry drank his juice. "Mommy made me breakfast. Do you want some Ashy?"
