Ashton had been stressing about Luke and his disappearance. Ever since that Wednesday, he had not seen him.

He doesn't care about Luke in that way, its just the fact that he is running the camp and needs to make sure that everybody is safe and still around and not dead. Not that he thinks the blonde is dead. He is just worried at the fact that because of what he has been told his entire life does not even come close to what another has been taught or has learnt. It makes you question everything.

Sure, apparently the translations of the Bible have been messed up and this was the first time Ashton heard of such a thing because his God father just always made him turn away from questioning anything and to accept what has been said in the Bible. And God has made us all. The devil has only been known to create demons and Ashton knew homosexuality was not a demon so obviously it is okay. But he still could not grasp that fact.

Instead of Ashton thinking of fixing homosexuals within the camp he had come to start asking Calum about it, not obsessively but enough times to make him annoyed. Sometimes he would even repeat what he had asked before.

The curly haired boy still couldn't come to the terms of accepting it though. It just did not seem right at all. Not one bit. He decided, maybe instead of asking Calum about this, he could go to someone else. And because of that, he was in the cafeteria during dinner time, searching the little amount of people for that one person. Spotting them at a table sitting with some guy Calum had been talking to a lot lately.

Ashton took a deep breath in, grabbing his plate of lasagne and salad and made his way over. He took a seat next to Michael and began eating.

"Um, what are you doing here?" Michael asked with irritation clear in his voice. He was obviously still upset about how Ashton pissed off Luke and the reason that Luke is not even there right now.

"I have come to talk." Ashton smiled, turning to Mackenzie who had an eyebrow raised.

Mackenzie leaned in and asked curiously, "what about? It's not usual that people find you sitting at a table with two delinquents that are gay."

"Well, it is more like questions. Calum has gotten irritated with me asking but I just need to know..."

The trailing off made the two agitated. They were curious to know what the hell this guy was talking about and trying to say. There is no reason to what to talk to a gay person about something when you are an indoctrinated fool; unless you want to change them.

"Just ask us bro. We can try answering, I guess." Mackenzie offered a small smile and Ashton sent a thankful one back, coughing slightly then he began to talk.

"How does being gay work?"

There was an uncomfortable silence as Mackenzie and Michael stared at Ashton then burst out laughing which made him feel even more uncomfortable.

"I don't get it, why are you laughing?" He leaned forward, pleading the two to stop but they couldn't. It was way too funny.

"Oh boy, now that was hilarious." Michael breathed out, taking a gulp of water while the girl calmed down.
