I woke up at the feeling of someone stroking my hair. I rub my eyes and look up to see my mom smiling at me my eyes widen and quickly stand up.

"Oh my god mom how are you now? How are you feeling?" I asked, "I'm feeling good Y/N let's go home" mom said and I frown I know she's just forcing her self, I know she's not feeling well deep down in her, "sorry mom we can't go home yet" I said and kiss her on the forehead, "but I'm fine now mija".

"No mom we need to you to get ready for your upcoming surgery and don't worry okay I promise you you'll be alright" I assure her and she look at me worriedly, "what? Y/N dear we don't have money for surgery" she said and I shook my head and rub her cheeks, "no mom don't worry about it okay, I will get a job soon, in fact I'm gonna meet up today with that person who'll give me a job" I said yep I will call Lauren and tell her that I will accept her offer.

"But Y/N are you sure I mean what if you get so tired and you get sick Mija" mom said in an overacting tone making me chuckled. "Mom don't worry okay trust me I'll be fine" I assure her and kiss her on the cheek. I heard my phone buzz so I pull it out and check it.

Ariana 💕: I'm at the lobby Y/N I'm on my way there now.

I smile at her text and type my reply then hit send. I return my phone back to my pocket and faced mom. "Hey Mom I'm gonna go home first then grab some clothes of you and I'll meet the person I'm telling you okay Ariana will be here to watch you I'll be back later mom, don't forget to eat your food okay I love you" I hug my mother and grab my bag, "take care okay Mija" mom said and I smile and nod.

Just as I open the door there goes Ariana who give me a hug and a good luck before going inside mom's room.

I make my way to the parking lot to get my car and drive home.

Once I reach the house I hop outside and open the door to get inside, I make my way to mom's room and get some clothes of her then put it on my luggage, I sit up on mom's bed and fix her blankets and pillow. I grab her pillow cause I want to bring her one to hospital, cause hospital only have one pillow. And as I grab her pillow there was a picture fell down on the floor. I furrowed my eyebrows and grab the photo.

My eyes widen and I felt my heart broke into pieces..it's

It's a picture of us three. When we are still complete.

It's mom and dad and me. We look so happy here. I'm only 7 in this picture and now I'm 19. So she still keep it.

I didn't realize that tears were already falling down my face and I quickly wipe my eyes and put the picture back under the other pillow.

I miss us to be honest I miss dad I miss us complete.

I sigh heavily before standing up and grabbing a towel I'm gonna take shower first before I call Lauren.

(Skip the shower cause the author is getting lazier)

I rub the towel in my head to dry my hair and put my clothes on, I'm wearing a ripped jeans and a 1975 t-shirt, I get the card Lauren gave me then dial it to my phone.

*Ringing*

Line #1: hello this is Jauregui company how may I help you?

Me: oh uhm hi can I please speak to Lauren jauregui?

Line #1: oh sure ma'am I'm gonna put you in her line now

Me: sure thank you

Line #2: hello? This is Michelle jauregui speaking

Me: *laughs* hello Ms. Michelle

Line #2: wait may I know whose this?

Me: guess!

Line #2: are you a prank caller or something?

Me: nope

Line #2: who are you then? If you don't tell me who are you I'm gonna have to hang up now ms.

Me: it's Y/N

Line #2: wait are you serious?

Me: yes duh

Line #2: oh hi Y/N what's up?

Me: uhm about your offer Lauren

Line #2: what about my offer?

Me: I really need job so uhm I'm accepting your offer

Line #2: *silence*

Me: hello? Lauren?

Me: Lauren?

Me: are you there?

Line #2: huh uh yeah yeah Y/N I'm here  let's meet up at Starbucks

Me: okie! I'll be going now bye Lauren

Line #2: bye Y/N

*Call ends*

I went outside with my luggage and get it on the back of the car.

I sit on the driver's seat and start the engine and drive away.

It's just a simple deal right?
