I start walking outside and find a cab, once I got one I told the driver to go to the hospital where mom is, I promise her I'll see her today so yeah I'm gonna head there.
While the cab is moving on the way, my phone starts ringing, I pull it out from my bag and hurriedly look at it cause it might be important but as soon as I saw the caller ID I sigh and reject the call. It was her of course the devil in my life.

The phone ring again and I groan pulling it out, will she ever stop bothering me argh. I turn off my phone so I won't hear it ring again, after a few hours of the drive I finally reach the hospital, I pay the driver and hop out of the cab. I went inside and take the elevator to go to the floor where my mom is. The elevator opened and I get out and walks in the hallway, once I reach mom's room.

I take a deep breath and keep the smile in my face even tho my day has not been really good, I open the door and both of Ariana and mom look at me and greet me with a big smile "heyyy y/n" Ariana said and pull me into a hug "hey Ari" I said and pull away from the hug I look at mom and this time my smile is real "hey Mom I miss you" I said and lean in to kiss her in the forehead "oh so you don't miss me huh?" Ariana asked crossing her arms over her chest I laughed and playfully roll my eyes on her "oh come on grande you know I never missed you" I said messing around, she pretend to be surprised and starts hitting my arm "ow ow okay okay I miss you chill down" she laugh and finally stop hitting me "I know you do" she said and smile, I turn my attention back to mom and she was just smiling at me and Ariana "hey my beautiful mother how are you feelin?" I asked and she chuckle "oh y/n dear stop with the compliments you know I'm already old" she said and I shake my head "nope Mama not because you're old doesn't mean you're beautiful actually Ariana here has a crush on you" I said and chuckle Ariana's eyes widen but just go with the flow, "oh my god y/n why did you tell Aunt y/m/n my biggest secret now I'm embarrassed" Ariana said and hide her face in my neck, I burst out laughing so did mom "oh you two stop messing around you don't want me to hit you with a mop" mom said and Ariana did a scared expression, "haha were kidding mom but still you're beautiful and don't scared us with the mop it actually hurts" I said remembering that day me and Ariana prank her and it end up mom hitting us both with a mop.

"Yup and don't even think of doing that aunt y/m/n cause you're not really in good condition right now" Ariana said and I nod in agreement "yep yep Ari's right we need you to get well first" I said and mom raise her eyebrow "and when I'm finally well I could hit you both with mop again I see well okay then" me and Ariana laugh at what mom said "woah woah there mother we never agree to that" I said and Ariana starts laughing really hard "yeah we just said you should get well first but we didn't say you could hit us with a mop again".

Mom smiled and shook her head "of course I'm joking anyways how was your day y/n?"

"Yeah dude how was your work?"

Oh gosh here we go I should've seen it coming.

Lauren's point of view

"Daaaaad I can't contact her!!" I yelled at my dad as I starts walking back and forth worriedly after what happen between me and y/n I tried calling her to apologise but she isn't answering, grace said the time she left the building was around 7:30 and now it's 10 What if she isn't home yet!?, "Lauren calm down you will see her tomorrow tho" dad said and take a drink of his water, I'm home now and I'm afraid that y/n is not home yet, "what if she quit!? Then I can't see her tomorrow anymoreee" I whined frustratedly and Chris just laugh at me "oh sista why are you so worried anyways? Whose that y/n?" He asked and I just roll my eyes at him "whatever it's non of your business" I said and continue thinking about y/n dad laugh and shake his head "y/n is the girl she took to pretend to be her fake girlfriend Chris" dad told him and Chris 'oh' are realization "I seee is she beautiful?" Chris ask and I instantly shot him a glare.
"Well yeah she is go to her Instagram and you'll see it" dad said and I look at him confused "how do you know if she has Instagram?" I asked and he laugh "oh yeah grace was so busy staring at her phone lately and I decide to ask what she's looking at then she showed me an account of y/n on Instagram so basically she's looking at her pictures" I felt my blood boil at what dad said, grace!? Knows y/n's Instagram!!? And I don't even fucking know?. "Ooohhh she's so pretty I'll ask her out sometimes" Chris interrupts making me look at him, "what the fuck you looking at?" I asked but he keeps on scrolling on his phone I take a look at he's hiding it in his chest making me groan "what the hell you looking at Chris?" I asked again and this time he's smiling like a creep on his phone "ooohhh look she's so cute in here" Chris said then finally show me his phone and I saw a picture of y/n she's wearing a v-neck shirt and her hair is on a messy bun while she's smiling cutely oh shit she's so beautiful, "dad can I ask her out?" Chris asked Dad and I quickly punch him in his arms "what?" He asked glaring at me "don't you dare ask her out" I said and he raise his eyebrows "why not? I mean she's just your fake girlfriend tho" he said and I felt myself back away a little, eh he got point but still y/n is min- wait no no Lauren what are you saying y/n is not yours she's just your annoying loser friend no enemy.

"But still she's my girlfriend so don't ask her out" I said and cross my arms "nah I'll ask her out" he said and I mentally groaned,wait that's not the point tho! I'm still not sure if y/n is home or not yet. "Argh daddd I still don't know if y/n is home already!" I said and sit down frustrated "hey honey how's work?" Mom suddenly came down from stairs with Taylor and join us "it was good a little bit tires but it's good" dad said and I felt they're eyes on me "what happen to you Lauren?" Taylor asked but I just keep silent thinking about y/n "oh she's so worried about y/n" dad said and mom asked "whose she?".
"She's my soon to be girlfriend" Chris said and I rolled my eyes and glare at him "she's the new secretary of mine honey and she's the girl your daughter get to pretend as her fake girlfriend" dad said and mom nod "I see well what's wrong with this girl y/n?" Mom asked "I can't contact her moooommm and I don't know if she got home or whatttt" I whined and mom chuckle at me "maybe she's just busy with stuffs Lauren" mom said and I frown, "but still I'm worried" I said and I totally can't stop thinking about her.

"Holy shit she's so beautiful!" I look at Taylor and she's scrolling on Chris's phone oh great please don't tell me she looking at y/n's picture too?.

My phone starts ringing and I quickly grab it to see who is it.

My face light up thinking it was y/n

But my mood suddenly change when it's not her.
