Chapter 39

"Doc how's my mother???" I asked as soon as the doctor stepped outside the surgery room.

He removed his face masked and hold me on my shoulder, I'm growing nervous and nervous by each second. Why can't he just tell me what happened.

"Your mother y/n..." He started

And I already feel tears building up my eyes again did she not make it?

"What? Please please just tell me what happened to her" I said and he suddenly gave me a warm smile which is really confusing but it's keeping my thoughts.

"She did make it y/n the surgery is successful your mother's gonna be alright" as soon as he finished those words I gasp for air and starts crying but it's tears of joy I'm so happy she's fine.

"Thank you so so much thank you for saving my mother" I gave him a real smile this time while wiping my tears away. "You're welcome by the way your mother will be sent back to her room soon and you'll be informed so you can check up on her" the doctor said and then excuse himself I nod and thank him before he goes.

"So your mother's fine i told you she will be o-" before she could say everything I hug her.

Yeah I hugged Lauren jauregui I just really need it right now.

"Thank you I really thought that she's gonna leave me" I mumble while still in touch with her. "I told you you'll be fine she's in good condition now y/n you don't have to worry anymore" I then feel her hug me tighter, it's kinda comfortable really comfortable.

But as soon as I realized that I couldn't be attached with her I pull away already.

"Sorry I just I need a little hug" I mumble and I look up at her she looks upset but I don't know why.

"It's cool you can hug me anytime" She whispers lowly but loud enough for me to understand.

Ariana suddenly came towards us.

"Heyyy y/n how's aunt y/m/n!? Is she okay?? How's she? Oh my God don't tell me she's gone please" Ariana asked exaggeratedly sometimes I don't like when she's being overacting.
"Calm down ari she's fine I'm so glad she's okay" I said and she smile and hug me. "That's so good y/n" she smiles, then her eyes land on Lauren...oh no.

Here goes the bunch of questions

"Oooohhh Ms. Jauregui of Jauregui ENT why are you here?"

"Are you trying to kidnap my friend here"

"Or you're trying to murder her"

"But seriously why are you here?" I lightly elbowed Ariana so she would shut up she's really talkative sometimes.

"I'm trying to take her home sorry" Lauren said and I almost choked on my own saliva

"What!!!?" Ariana asked shocked

Lauren giggle and let out a cute laugh

"Nah just kidding I'm here to check up on y/n and aunt y/m/n" Lauren said smiling.

"Ahhh I see not yet getting her blessings but already calling her aunt, you're fast Ms. Jauregui" Lauren laugh and so did Ariana I actually don't get what that means.

But suddenly as soon as realization hit me, I smack Ariana on the arm but it wasn't that hard.

"Ouuuuch what was that for?" She asked "calling her aunt is a sign of respect you idiot it's normal" I said and she just chuckle

While Lauren gave me a look

"Why do you want it to be normal when it could be something else?" Lauren asked and this time her tone is so serious.

Ariana's point of view

I seriously can tell that something's going on between these two girls.

I mean like the way they look with each other it's making me feel so gross...nah just joking but I know that there's something up with them and I'm gonna find out why

"Ms. Y/l/n?" I look back and saw nurse approaching us

"Your mother is already sent to her room You're allowed to visit her now Ms." The nurse told us and y/n excitedly smile and starts to run away, but before she could reach far she stop and look back at us "come on yallll! I'm gonna see my mother" she shout and continue to run away.

I look back at Lauren who was just staring at y/n's direction.

"She could be confusing sometimes I know" I said out of nowhere and she was snapped out at her thoughts

"Huh?" She asked not quite sure if she get what I said

"I said I know that sometimes y/n is confusing"

She smile and look down "yeah but I think I'm the one who confuse her the most" she said and cross her arms.

Yep definitely somethings on

"You coming? To see y/n's mom?" I asked and she smile and nod then catch up with me and said

"Yeah still need to get that Blessing tho"
